"Hi, it's Nini I'm busy atm but I'll hit you back" her voicemail said once again as Dom tried calling her

He missed her BAD, she always knew what to say when things was shit and how to make him  smile

He never liked nobody how he liked her, Domani knows it  sounds corny but he felt that when you know... YOU KNOW

"Bye daddy" DJ ran off as he saw Paris walk into the ice cream place they agreed to do pick ups and drop off at

"Hol'on boy" Dom followed behind him holding their ice cream

"Hey baby" she picked him up giving him a hug

"Everything in his bag" handing his small duffel bag over to her field with daily toys he uses at both house and his blanket as well as the outfit he was dropped off in

"Should be unless he took it out" she rolled her eyes putting the bag on her shoulder

"I know I 'ain shit' but I really appreciate you letting me see him I'm ok with you not accepting my apology and shii but thank you for real" Dom told Paris once again and just hearing that warmed her heart

All she ever wanted for her son was to be a good mom and have a good relationship with his dad. DJ loved going to his dads house and never wanted to leave but he understood somewhat of the reasoning behind it

"Well you look like you got some business to handle so imma let you go" Paris grabbed DJ's ice cream and the family walked out of the ice cream shop going opposite directions in the parking lot

Domani got inside he car driving instantly to Journiiee's seeing her car not there making him worry

Parking his car on the side of the road infront of her house he took out his phone calling one of his families employees

"Chris how you doing?" He answered the phone giving

"Look man I need you to find somebody for me, it won't be hard to cause they not not the run or nothing"

"Journiiee Arnold she's 22 a lil brownskin thing curly hair"

"Thank you" and with that Domani begging driving to a furniture store to pick out a room set for his sister

He got their finding a grey bed and a floating chair she said she wanted to help put the order in for that then went a grabbed a dresser and a vanity taking that home immediately

"Hello" he answered Chris call

"Thank you I appreciate it" Dom responded as Chris provided him with Journiiee's whereabouts

In walked Nini as Dom sat in her townhome in complete darkness

"Why you working at a fucking strip club" Dom spoke as she turned on the lights spooking her

"WHAT THE FUCK DOM" she yelled putting down her mace making him laugh

"My fault, but answer my question" she walked past him and into her bedroom so he stood in the doorway trapping her inside

"Why do it matter we not together" she began picking out her night clothes

"Don't do that Ni, I was going through shit and I know that ain give me the right to do what I did but it just felt like everybody gave up on me"

"We talked about that tho D, what happened to communication?" He heard every ounce of hurt in her voice

"I get that but in that moment I needed to just sit so I could figure comes hit out, between this shit with D2, Paris and my moms I just wasn't in the mood to talk yet" she tried to push past him and go to the bathroom but he stood his ground

"Journiiee I need your help, I gotta get Daja out that house and if I do that her only place is with me, pops or dame, and she don't know them niggas so her only option is me. Ion know shit about her for real or how to take care of her" Nini chuckled and rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms

"Look young outta forgive me but just help me with her even if it is just for the first month or so I need your help" he grabbed her hand in hopes that should would understand

"Look I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for Daja because nobody should have to go through all of this at once"

"I'm assuming Gio told you" she nodded

"Cool oh and quit that damn job your bills are still paid up until next year" Dom walked out the house leaving her smiling and shaking her head
