"My mom should be stopping by soon so we can leave in the morning" dame sat on the floor next to him playing with his cheeks

"I guess I'll tell you then, you know I got out the day you had him and I was tryna find my way to you but I went the wrong way and saw Dom- is that my Grand son!" Vanessa came in yelling cutting him off
"Say wassup GiGi" Dame made him wave as he just stared
"What you been feeding this boy he look bigger then I last saw him " she picked him out of his swing sitting next to me
"That ti- Milk" Damien cleared his throat fixing his word choice cause I gave him that momma stare

"How's he sleeping" she rocked him
"Good, he wake up at 1, 5, and 9 but when he up he up dude playful and he'll act like he sleep but he really not" dame told her as I smiled at thier connection
I genuinely wished my parents were as active as Vanessa or at least my mom but I haven't seen them since I went into labor
"Well yall go get packed up and do what you need to do Gigi is hear and she's on duty until you get back" Vanessa replied giving me a hug and dame a kiss on his cheek
We both went upstairs into our bedroom and began packing in awkward silence
