My eyes shot open for a reason I couldn't figure out. I feel someone next to me but can't make out who it is.
"Skylor?" A familiar voice calls my name
"Nya?"
We share confused glances but then last night came rushing back to both our minds

What the hell did I just see..

There they were, Lloyd and Kai, shamelessly making out in a corner. In other words LLOYD making out with the same crush I've had since middle school. I forced a smile on my face as tears threatened to fall. I ran from the scene instantly
"SKYLOR!!" I hear a familiar voice not caring whom it belongs too
Lloyd was lucky..

I ended up dropping to the bar, chugging drink after drink, the tears long gone erased by numbness.

Just as I feel myself loosing consciousness, I feel a soft comforting presence
"Skylor.." my body jerked upward and I put on a lazy smile seeing my best friend

She embraced me in her arms, despite both of us being drunk it still felt like a sober hug
But soon enough, before I knew it my lips crashed on hers, and that's when I could tell, she had been heartbroken tonight as well.
She was thinking of jay while I was thinking of Kai, and we channeled our emotions into that one night, that one kiss.

I cupped a hand to my mouth, seeing the fear in both our eyes

Jay POV
From that day things began to change. Firstly I wasn't bullied like at all by Cole, and I really was enjoying it. Cole seemed ti have backed off. He didn't come near me in a good way or bad way. This was the life, it was perfect. Lloyd and Kai were in a.. well let's say a situationship. They weren't dating officially but they would act like a couple. They weren't ready for dating but they love eachother you can see it in their eyes. Zane was Zane, but Nya.. was very off so was Skylor not sure what's happening between them.
Everything was going good until a student on a scholarship to the university showed up
They say his name is Morro. Who just so happens to be Lloyds cousin
Morro is a very like fucking scary smart person. But at the same time he's a person you don't want to come across, he has proven to be.. intimidating in the 1 week he was here. He apparently also has a rocky relationship with Cole, like they have beef apparently. And I thought I would never even have to be near him, despite Lloyd's relations. But of course, I have my luck.
Turns out, in technology, we have a huge ass project to design that's going to be sent to Borg industries, which, mind you, is the coolest place ever to work! If our project is good enough, we could have a whole new career life! I was ecstatic to be there until our teacher announced our pairings..
"And lastly, Jay Walker, Cole brookstone and Morro garmadon" my heart stopped after hearing both names after
Coles instantly looked at me with shock and Morro with a cold stare I couldn't decipher
