A young boy sat huddled in a corner, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I want my mother!" he sobbed. Ayoko went over and gathered him into her arms until his cries eased.
Once the boy had cried himself to sleep, she laid him down gently and checked on the rest. An elderly man with a bandaged leg gave her a nod of thanks as she refilled his water. Satisfied that all were settling in for the night, Ayoko returned to Ace's side.
"It seems this ordeal has only just begun," she said with a weary sigh. Ace followed her gaze to where Ziin stood by the magical screen, coordinating with the others across the city.
"Rest for now. We'll need our strength to see this crisis resolved," Ace replied. Ayoko nodded and leaned back against the wall, closing her eyes against the grim realities of the night beyond their earthen shelter. For the moment, all they could do was wait and watch over those who had fled here seeking refuge.
Nearby, Keiwa was sampling various foods from their stores, much to the dismay of onlookers. "Mmm this dried meat is delicious! Though I think I'll pass on the century-old pickled eggs..."
The historian eagerly shared his tales, whether people wanted to hear them or not. "And that's how Oda Nobunaga tamed the dreaded Bunny of Doom! Sure the real story is much less funny but who cares when I'm having this much fun!"
A group of children played nearby, reenacting grand battles with wooden sword. Unfortunately one kid wasn't paying attention and whacked Jin right in the shin. "Yowch! Those monsters hit harder than this pipsqueak..."
That evening, Ayoko's grinning face appeared on screen. But all that could be heard was "Mmf mguh blurgh!!" thanks to Keiwa shoving an entire bun in his mouth mid-wave. The kids laughed hysterically while Jin facepalmed in exasperation.

Barclx stood inside the burning city, contemplating his next moves.
“It’s not a game without a winning condition now, is it?” he held up his Vision Driver.
He pressed it with his thumb, the Driver glowed.
From the ground up, a dark tower rose against the sky. It seemed to suck in all of the air and light around it, creating an eerie darkness where it stood. Each brick was carefully placed by unseen hands as if they were playing a game of life-size Jenga.
Barclc stood on top of the tower. He carefully placed his Vision Driver on a platform.
Inside the bunkers…
“Woa- woah! Hey! Oi!” Keiwa panicked as his and everyone's Spider Phones began acting wild.
The Spider Phones created a hologram.
[Desire Apocalypse Winning Conditions]
[1. Get to the tower and take the Vision Driver to reset the entire world]
[2. Survive till the very end to get your deepest wishes granted]
Everyone, Riders, citizens looked at the message. Everyone has their own thoughts.
“Will they unite against my Jyamato army? Or will chaos reign as people fight each other to realize their desires? How interesting.” Barclx mused.
The location of the tower was also revealed through the Spider Phones.
At the same time, the Jyamatos have found their bunkers and began breaking in.
“The Jyamatos found us!” Ayoko said.
“They’re not getting in anytime soon because the doors are really sturdy.” Ziin said.
“But that noise isn’t the best thing to sleep in.” Ace commented, looking at the Jyamatos trying to break in.
[Desire Driver!]
“So killing them is the way to go.” Ace stood up.
“Let me help too. Keiwa and Jin, you should guard your bunker too.” Ayoko stood next to Ace.
“Ok. Come on Jin” Keiwa said, equiping his Driver.
“Ughhhhhhhhhh…” Jin groaned, equipping his Driver.
[Set!] [Set Up!]
The logos appeared behind the Riders, catching the attention of some people.
“What’s that? Magic?”
“I knew it! Magic is real!”

“Henshin.”
[Monster!] [Ninja!] [Fantasy!] [Dual On! Hyperlink! LaserBoost.]
“Let’s go beat them up” Geats said, jumping in the middle of the Jyamatos.
[Ready? Fight.]
