Shadow II: Named Threats (P1)

[READY? FIGHT!!!]

Geats rushed into the scene, his splitted sword slashing away and destroying all of the Jyamatos that got nearby.

He jumped in further, using his legs to deliver devastating kicks to further weaken the enemy. Rooks Knights Bishops and Pawns all the same, one slash from the sword and they're dead.

One Knight Jyamato and Rook Jyamato appeared in front and behind him. Geats used his powers to freeze the Rook's feet, then moved out as the Knight shoots spikes towards its own ally.

Geats then spun and slashed the Jyamatos dead.

"No! You think you can just do that??" Archimedel stepped up.

"Well what'cha gonna do bout it?" Geats taunted smugly.

"You- Come out! Jyamato Riders!"

[LaserBoost]
[Dragon!]

Three Jyamato Riders appeared, donning different upgraded armors.

"Go!" Archimedel yelled the LaserBoost one dashed forward, moving in a blur, only leaving blue laser lines visible.

"Oh come on." Geats said as he slashed the incoming Jyamato Rider multiple times as it went past him until it lost its speed, then Geats swung and chopped down even further.

Pushing the LaserBoost aside as the Boost Mk-II one blitzed in, Geats effortlessly raised his free hand to parry and smack the enemy's punches away. He then launched a devastating roundhouse kick to send that one flying towards the recovering LaserBoost. Both of them flew, collided and crashed into large pipes on the far side of the area.

"Ya not gonna use my past powers against me." In a burst of speed, Geats closed the distance and chopped away relentlessly, his Edge becoming a blur, hitting two enemies at once. They scrambled and seperated themselves as one of them prepares an attack.

The LaserBoost used its gravity power to send a pipe Geats' way, only for Geats to freeze it in a crystal of stopped time, then hefted it up as the airbine Dragon Rider swooping in for an aeriel assult. Unable to pull up in time, the Rider smashed full-force against the pipe, crashing down as Geats grabbed its left arm and tossed it away, furthering the damage.

[BOOST TACTICAL DESTRUCTION!]

Geats turned and aimed 3 slashes each to a Jyamato Riders. The slashes went through like butter, quickly destroying them.

Enraged, Archimedel bellowed his frustration to the sky. "If you wish to oppose me, then face my true power!" Shadowy essence swirled around his body, mutating and distorting his form. 

When the darkness cleared, the Shadow Jyamato monster stood in Archimedel's place. Its white, grotesque limbs and body combined with violet spikes creating a horrible monster. A deadly pair of red eyes glew up with deadly.

"Die!" Shadow Jyamato summoned countless tendrils all heading Geats' way, spreading wide to engulf him from every spot. Upon getting closer, those tendrils each splitted into countless small wires, barely visible.

As the wires touched Geats' it passef through. His position was just an illusion as his voice called from behind Shadow Jyamato, "Sup" Geats swung as smacked Shadow Jyamato a few meters away.

"Arg!" Shadow Jyamato then switched tactics, sinking down the ground as if it's a liquid.

[DETACH]

Boosting himself up, Geats' splitted blade flew in a crimson arc, going into the ground and forcefully hit and pushing Shadow Jyamato out of the ground.

Though enraged, Shadow Jyamato knew better than continuing this suicide battle. With a ground-shaking roar of frustration, it summoned more black flames from the pavement. The inferno began to spread quickly, encroaching on nearby buildings.

Sections of street, sidewalk and some of the destroyed buildings went up in black flames once more as  Shadow Jyamato watched, forced to retreat for now lest it be outmaneuvered again. Archimedel sank below the earth, his form quickly vanishing.

With the immediate threat quelled, Geats scanned the area and noticed a growing crowd of onlookers at the scene.

Smartphones were out, capturing the bizarre battle from a distance. Helicopters also circled overhead, no doubt intending to beam footage to the evening news.

Win walked near the detransformed Ace, "We got a lot of other things to talk. The other riders got into a situation, to say."

"Let's see what info we can get." Ace and Win walked away to find Tsumuri, hoping she got some answers.
