Finally, Friday is here! No one knows how much Justin looks forward for his 4 days off after working for 2 weeks straight. He can be free from cameras and enjoy his private life before back to his schedules.

He finished vacuuming the house, contemplating to pack his things for the family dinner tonight. It will be a two hour drive to his parents' house, and it is only 10 in the morning. There is no discussion yet with Ken regarding the trip to the family dinner, as the man is at work now. Justin grabs his phone, texting Ken with a little hope that he'll reply as he probably busy.

Wasting no time, Justin packs his things in a small backpack as he still have clothes in his parent's house. He doesn't plan to go out during the stay, so there isn't need to pack fancy clothes and all. Once he done, he continues cleaning the house to kill time before Ken is home.

"Put the address in Waze,” Ken says once they both already put their seatbelt on. "I can guide you," Justin frowns. He might rarely goes home but he still remember the road. The side glance from Ken makes Justin sighs, obeying his words. "Do whatever you want, just don't talk to me," Ken announces before turning the wheels.

"Okay, but can I snack?" Justin asks for permission as this is his first time in Ken's car, and also the first time in a roadtrip with him. Ken hums as a green light, his eyes stare on the road seriously. "If so, can you stop by anywhere so I can buy snacks? I think there is a petrol station nearby," Another side glance from Ken as a response.

"Do you want anything?" Justin asks while wearing his face mask once Ken stops at the petrol pump. "Hurry up." There is annoyance evidence in his voice that Justin decided to not provoke him anymore. Justin quickly buy his snacks, afraid that Ken will left him behind if he takes too long although it is impossible because they are going to their family dinner. Jumping into the car, he offers some snacks to Ken but got rejected. Putting on his headphone and open his snacks, their journey continues. After a pack of his snack emptied, Justin decided to take a nap because he is bored. After all, Ken doesn't need his guidance to his parents' home.

His sleep interrupted when he feels a nudge on his elbow, along with his phone ringing. "Your mom calls," Ken says. Yawning, he answers the phone and put it on loudspeaker while he rubs his eyes. "Jah, where are you?" Looking at the Ken's phone that been used for Waze, Justin answers. "We'll be there in 30 minutes, but there is quite a traffic way ahead." "Okay then. Take your time and drive safely. Ken's parents just arrived here. Don't rush, we'll wait for you," she informs. "Ok, Mama."

Justin ends the call, checking on his notifications as he is already awake. He gulps down some water to clear his throat, opening another snack to munch on. "Oh, my parents call me Jah. It is my family's nickname. But I think it is still logical for you to call me Justin instead, considering our relationship and marriage." Again, no response. Justin sighs, scrolling down his social medias.

45 minutes later, they arrived at Justin's house. "Thank you for driving," Justin says, once he sees Ken stretching his body. His mom greets them at the front door, making Justin jumps happily. "I miss you so much, anak!" They exchanges tight hugs, ignoring Ken for a second. They have been this close, considering Justin is De Dios's last child. Ken greets Justin's mom with a small smile, which surprises Justin.

So, he can smile huh?

They walk into the house, Ken's mom; Marie is in the kitchen cooking, while both their dads are outside at the backyard grilling some meats. "Ken, how are you?" Marie greets Ken calmly with a small hug, unlike Justin's mom. Maybe, they are who Ken inherited calmness from. "Good." "Tita Marie," Justin greets shyly. This has been Justin's first encounter with Ken's parents after the marriage. "Oh, don't be silly, Justin. Just call me Mom and Ken's dad as Dad. No need to be formal. We're family already." Justin looks at Ken for permission, but he only finds his stare on him. Nodding, he just play along for the time being. "Ok, Mom," Justin smiles awkwardly.

"Go greet your Papa and Dad at the backyard, first. Then, go upstairs and take a rest first. I"ll call you both once the dinner is ready," Justin's mom urges. Both of them obeys, spending about ten minutes at the backyard having some small talk before excusing themselves to refresh themselves.

"My room is the one on left, with my name at the door. Make yourself comfortable while I get our bags. Can you pass me your car's keys?" Watching Ken walking upstairs after giving him the keys, Justin rushes out to get their bags before it's getting too dark outside.
