It's now or never.

"Ken, can I get some explanation first before you go to sleep?" He pulls away from the hug, playing with his fingers. He somehow expects for Ken to ignore him but instead, he stand still there in front of him. "What is it?"

He meets Ken's eyes, hoping that this is just a dream. He tried his shot, not expecting it will hit the target. Now, he needs to brace himself so he can make the time worth.

"Let's take a seat first, shall we?" He guides to the living room, which Ken follows. They sit opposite each other, let the silence fills for few moments.

"I don't want to put up a fight or anything. It is out of curiousity and to stop the overthinking. Also, so I can somehow prepare myself once I know the truth," he clears himself.

Ken small nod, giving him the chance to continue speaking. "I don't know if I should bother about it considering our marriage isn't real, but I think it is easier and better for us to be more transparent to each other." Justin notices Ken's looks a little bit stiff, before the guy leans his back and cross his arms.

"Do you want to explain the reason behind the kiss back then?" He hates to remind the memory but he had to. "I won't explain but I am sorry," Ken replies. "Please don't do that again. I'm still young to die of heart attack," he says, taking the apology to put closure on his curiousity.

"Next, about our relationship. First few months of the marriage, you were closed off with me. Not until the family dinner, you started to be civil with me. I am very happy with the progress. I'm honestly not expecting us to fall in love because of how we started the marriage and all. But the least I'm imagining us are as good housemates or friends. We can share stories, problems, opinions instead of ignoring each other. Can we or am I asking too much?"

"I'll try," Ken nods his head. "Good. But just tell me if I'm crossing the line instead of giving me cold shoulders. I will do my best to understand you better," Justin says.

Justin takes a deep breathe to put himself on ease. He doesn't know why there is this heavy feelings to know the truth for this last question. "I had another one that needs explanation. To make it clear, it was all accident. I didn't spy through it." He stops for a few seconds before continue. "I accidentally read your text, and you mentioned the name during my IG Live that time. I just need to know, who is Jade?"

Ken sits upright upon hearing his question. From the reaction, Justin knows he shouldn't know about her existence in Ken's life. "Look, I understand if she is your girlfriend or lover. I have no right to stop your relationship. But, does she know about us? If yes, can you guarantee that she won't expose about me? I'm not risking my career, at least for this a year and half before my contract ends."

"I'll guarantee that. Go and get your rest, Justin. Goodnight." With that, Ken leaves for his room.
