"I need to talk to you," Ken closes the door, stopping him from getting out of room. "There is nothing to talk about," he answers coldly. Everything has been crystal clear between them, he doesn't understand the request."You're hiding something from me." This time, Ken leans on the door with crossed arms. "Enlighten me," he mirrors the expression, eyes challenging. "You've been avoiding me and giving me cold shoulders. Mind to explain?"
Keeping his face sterns, he replies. "I've been busy and tired with my schedules, you can't expect me to be fine and alright all the time."
"We've lived together for months. You had hectic schedules before, but this isn't the same way you treated me. You're being different."
Justin shrugs, "Maybe my mask is falling off. You're seeing the real me right now."
Taking the chance, he decided to bring up the topic. The sooner, the better. Knowing that the discussion can't be out of the room, he sits on the bed.
"Have you work on the divorce paperwork? If you're too busy to do so, I'll do it by myself. It has been a month since we discussed about it, I'm not waiting for any longer." He tones down the voice to keep it hidden from their moms.
Ken locks the door to prevent sudden intervention, before he stands in front of Justin with deep frown. "Sorry, say it again?"
Taking a deep breathe, Justin musters himself to act cold and unbothered, not affected with the issue. "The divorce we talked about. I'll take over if you can't. I believe that there is nothing hold us back from proceeding it."
"Oh, since you're so bothered with the empty wardrobe and all, I moved in somewhere else. We'll just meet each other only during family's gathering. Through out the divorce process, we'll mind our own business," he adds.
There is a heavy silence fills the room before Ken lets out a frustration sigh. "You're acting on your own, aren't you? What makes you so eager with the divorce?"
The rage inside him building up, Justin is shaking out of anger. "To my defense, it is you who should be eager for divorce! How long will you let Jade suffer with your action? I wouldn't accept this marriage if I knew about your relationship with Jade beforehand. You're hurting her and I won't stay silent about it."
"You know nothing about me and Jade. Don't try to act like you do." Ken's voice is cold, just like how he used to be.
"Maybe. But one thing I'm sure of, this marriage should end. Either in your way or my way." Justin fiercely says.
"You should thank me, that I'm making it easier for you. You just need to find way to break the news to our parents. I won't meddle in that part. But you know, honesty is the best policy." He stands up to leave the room when Ken holds his arm.
"You've met Jade, right?" He freezes with the attack. "Honesty is the best policy, Jah," Ken adds.

"I won't be mad at you as long as you don't mention about her. At least, for this few days. We should focus on making our moms comfortable to be here, instead. Can you?" That was Ken's request after the confrontation about Jade cut off with a knock on the door, his mom asking for extra towel.
The request equals to them having to act like they are good with each other. It supposed to be an easy task but Justin seems struggling a little. There isn't much effort needed, not even extra skinship that makes him uncomfortable but the way Ken acts is giving him this uneasy feelings.
"I wiped clean the dining table," he jumps out of surprise with the sudden appearance of Ken at the sink. "Ok, thank you," he replies before continue with the dishes. "Don't overthink too much, Jah. We're good right now, just enjoy it," he comments before going to the coffee machine.
Justin pays him a small glance, Ken is brewing his coffee. "You're staying up?" His throat hoarse, due to nervous and unknown mixed feelings. "I've got work to do. I'll turn the desk lamp so it won't disturb your sleep." He nods with the information given, turning off the tap as he finished with the chores.
"Should we drive our moms around tomorrow?" Ken asks, waiting for his coffee to be done.
Justin looks over to the room, their moms had already go to bed due to exhaustion from the long hour drive. "Good idea." He watches as Ken prepares his coffee. It aches his heart a little to know that he is enjoying his last moments in the house.
"I'm going to watch a movie first," Justin excuses himself before he starts to tear up. He randomly select a movie just to have background noise while he lays on the couch.
Coming clear to Ken about him moved out from the house somehow makes everything more real than before. It seems like the divorce is already there, and they'll become strangers in few days.
This is what he wants, but he starts to having second thought about it.
