A few days have gone by...
"Mommy I want to add something else to my Christmas list for Santa" Zyla says she sat in Fatima's lap while she focused into her laptop. Zyla woke up from her after school nap and immediately came to find her mother
"And what would that be pooh?" Fatima says as she responded to an email
"Mommy you're not Santa, but daddy knows Santa so I'll tell him to tell him" Zyla says taking it upon her to unlock Fatima's phone to play a game
"How do you know I don't know Santa?" Fatima ask
"Because daddy said him and Santa are bestfriends" Zyla says sweetly
"I'm bestfriends with Santa too, why cant you tell me so I can tell him" Fatima says
"Mommy you're telling a story, you're not bestfriends with Santa silly" Zyla says giggling
"What if I can get it before Santa and it can be a gift for before Christmas" Fatima says bribing her and Zyla's head snapped around with her eyes lit up
"I bet you want to tell me now" Fatima says laughing at her reaction
Zyla put her hand on her chin as she put her thinking face on
"You're really thinking hard" Fatima says to her
"Hmmmmmm" Zyla says
"Welllll, I want a cute little baby" Zyla says
"Zyla you have so many doll babies upstairs that you don't even play with, if you ge-
"No mommy! The one that's here" Zyla says sending of little hands to Fatima's belly. Fatima lets out a confused cough.
"Oh pooh mommy can't give you one of those. I don't think Santa makes gifts like that either" Fatima says exhaling
"But mommy you said I could have it before Christmas" Zyla pouted with her arms folded
"I know Princess but mom-
"No!" Zyla yelled and got off of Fatima's lap
"Zyla we talked about the yell-
Zyla did her iconic screech, that she always did when she was upset.
"ZYLA ROE CUT IT OUT!" Fatima hollered as Zyla ran out of her office and at the same time the door bell rang. Fatima lifted her phone and realized there were notifications from Zac, who was picking up Zyla for his days.
"Zyla your dad is here" Fatima says walking to the door in hopes she would stop her crying but that did not work
When she open the door Zac was finishing a text before he put his phone is his pocket.
"What happened?" He ask hearing Zyla crying.
"Just go get her please" Fatima says as he steps in and she closed the door behind her. Zac walks to the den space that he heard Zyla crying from
"Princess what's wrong?" He asked picking her up from the floor as she cried. She was so upset and Fatima couldn't believe the break down she was having.
"Seriously Zyla" Fatima says as she stood off to the side
"I can't help you if you don't use your words Zyla" Zac says as he wiped her tears and Zyla pointed at Fatima
"Mommy did it?" Zac ask as Zyla laid her head on his shoulder
"Oh girl-
"Tell me what mommy did princess" Zac says
