About two months passed and Alaysha is four months into her pregnancy with a small round belly. Her small stature made her stomach more defined and all the weight she gained was from her stomach.
Today she was inviting her brother over, Aiden who she hadn't seen since she found out she was pregnant. Aiden was her older brother and like a father figure because their father wasn't around. Their mother raised them while she was a practicing doctor. With her busy schedule, she always over compensated with buying them whatever their hearts desired because of the time she missed. Nonetheless, her relationship with her kids was strong even with long work hours.
Alaysha and Aiden had the typical younger sister, big brother dynamic. Because of that, Alaysha was very nervous to tell her brother about her pregnancy and had been avoiding seeing him since.

Alaysha was sitting on the couch when her door bell rang, and in that moment her stomach dropped. She had on one of Zac's sweatshirts but it was clear in her face that she was pregnant.
She walked to the door and took a deep breath before she opened seeing her brother standing on the other side.
"Brother!" Alaysha says excitedly as Aiden looked at her. In that moment she knew by his face something was wrong.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked in confusion
"Keeping secrets I see" he says stepping into the apartment
"Huh what you mean?" She says
"You let that nigga get you pregnant, that's the secret" he says
"Aiden what?" She asked cluelessly
"Alaysha really?" He says
"Aiden I'm grown" she says giving in, not willing to keep up with the oblivious act.
"I just know mommy doesn't know anything about it." He says to her. He looks at her for a response and her face was blank.
"I was thinking to myself like damn when was the last time I seen my sister. We ain't never been so distant in our entire lives. Then I remember you were dealing with that nigga, so I'm like maybe she doing what she always do. Getting caught up in a ni-
"Nobody is caught up" she says
"Alaysha- well what do you call it?" He ask
"So I haven't seen you in months and this is how you're going to treat me?" Alaysha says
"You know what? you're right!" He says walking over to embrace her in a hug.
"You're grown, it's your life. You do what you want." He continues trying to disassociate. She pushes away from the hug because of his fake energy.

"You knew exactly how I was going to act that's why you held off on telling me this long. What you about four, five months, you big as hell-" he exaggerates
She punched his shoulder at his comment and he stepped back some.
"I'm just saying, I'm not calling you fat or anything but you're clearly far in the pregnancy" he says
"I'm four months" she tells him
"Exactly so the last time I seen you-
"The last time I seen you I was pregnant BUT" she says seeing him ready to interject
"But I did not know! I took a test and it was negative. I didn't find out until I went to the doctors for a regular appointment. I was already two months when that happened"she explained herself
