Chapter 8

3rd Person POV:

After everyone in the room was settled down. The wide door to the entrance of the hall opened and in came around four bodyguards and an old man who was around in his 80s but kinda looked like he was in his early 60s or late 50s. Everyone present in the hall stood up and bowed down to him out of respect. He was non other than Mr. Min himself. 

He looked around in the crowd and when his eyes met Minho's they glistened with encouragement for him. He has been a very supportive person to Minho and wants to give Minho his position but he wants him to earn that because there were someone else too that were very much capable of this position. Amid the crowd he spotted the Jeon siblings too and made an eye contact with them as well giving them the same eyes that he gave to Minho.

"Thank you for all of you to attend this year's first meeting. Please take a seat." Everyone sat down. He then cleared his throat and stood straight. "As we all know why this meeting is taking place. Soon all of you will be taking the positions that were held previously by your parents. Till now all the things that were given to you and were called responsibilities are nothing as compared to what now will be given to you. Now, you will not be helping you parents, now you will be building yourselves. Since you all know I'm getting old, and I need a person who is most capable of this position. Some of you may say that I already have an heir but, I want my heir to be testified and approved by everyone so, no one will be able to raise a single finger against her or him."

Little murmurs filled which was quickly interrupted by Kim Jeonghwa asking an important question which was in minds of many, "Mr. Min we were said that there will be only one representative from one organization but both of the Jeon's are here." Mr. Min smiled at the question and turned his head to both of them and smiled proudly when his eyes met Hana's.

"Young man, they are here from different organizations. Mr. Jeon is here for Jeon Enterprises and Ms. Jeon is here to represent PR Corporation as she was announced as the heir a year and a half ago and she is also the owner of BA Cosmetics." His statement left many in utter surprise. 

'Wait, What' 'So she was building her own empire from the past six years.' 'How did she did that?' 'I knew she was smart.' When did this happened?' 'An year and half ago? There sales rose at that time too maybe because of her?' 'Wasn't she like a little crybaby who was bullied? How did she had such a powerful glow-up?' Murmurs filled in which kinda made Jungkook a bit uneasy.

He thought about old timed when they used to murmur about her like that in the past. But when he glanced at his sister, he didn't see the same timid girl he used to see earlier. Instead, he saw a mature woman with full confidence in her who wasn't caring about whatever they were saying. He smiled at her and sat there proud of his big sister.

'Now everything will be good.'
