Becky POV
I had to fake my demeanor, concealing the realization that my plan to distance myself from Freen had failed. Sitting with Freen's mother, Fah, at breakfast, I could sense her excitement about meeting me.
As we ate, Freen assured me that the dishes weren't spicy, seemingly aware of my aversion to spicy food. "You can eat this; it's not spicy at all," Freen said, placing some dishes on my plate. I marveled at how she knew about my inability to handle spiciness.
Amidst our meal, Fah dropped a bombshell. "So, did you guys sleep together last night?" she asked bluntly. I choked on my food, coughing, while Freen handed me water and scolded her mother. "Mom, don't tease her like that."
Fah chuckled, her curiosity evident. "I seriously want to know how you made my daughter fall in love with you, Becky."
Nervously, I recognized this as part of Freen's plan. Suddenly, Freen started acting, convincing her mother that we were a couple by placing her hand on my shoulder. I was shocked. "I guess it's my first love, Mom. The first time we met, I knew she would be mine," Freen declared.
Annoyed, I tried to get away, but Freen tightened her grip, pulling us even closer. The charade continued, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was trapped in Freen's elaborate plan.
As Fah and Becky worked together on washing the dishes, Freen's mother took a moment to express her gratitude. The clinking of dishes provided a backdrop to the heartfelt conversation.
"I know sometimes Freen's attitude might be confusing to you, but I want to thank you for bringing such positivity into her life," Fah shared, her words carrying a genuine warmth. "I know your relationship is still in its early stages, but I'm hoping you'll stay with her."
Becky, taken aback by Fah's unexpected words, tried to downplay her role. "I don't know what you're talking about, Ma'am," she replied modestly.
Fah, not letting go of her appreciative sentiments, reached out and held Becky's hand with a meaningful smile. "Thanks to you, I've already seen her smile and the happiness in her eyes again."
Becky, glancing over at Freen, who was deeply engrossed in her phone call, reciprocated the smile. Inside, she grappled with the complexity of Freen's family situation and the mysteries that surrounded her. "I'm so confused about what's happening with their family and what truly happened to Freen," Becky thought to herself, managing a convincing smile in response to Fah's appreciation.
Becky POV
As I washed the dishes, my phone vibrated with a notification. It was a long message from Nop, explaining what had happened. Just as I considered answering his call to hear his side of the story, Freen appeared behind me, snatching my phone and rejecting Nop's call. "Freen, I want my phone back," I insisted, attempting to retrieve it from her, but she was taller and made it challenging for me.
"I seriously don't like the fact that you're still in contact with him," Freen expressed. "Why? You're not my real partner, and you don't have the right to control my life. Come on, Freen, bring my phone back," I retorted, angered by her actions.
"You want your phone back?" Freen said, then threw it against the wall, shocking me. Enraged, I hit Freen's shoulder. "How could you do that? I hate you, Freen!" I declared. Freen pushed me against the wall, trapping me with an intense gaze and eye contact. Annoyed, I broke the eye contact, but Freen quickly lifted my chin to reestablish it, closing the proximity by placing her hand on my waist.
"What's so special about him that you like him so much? I think he's just taking advantage of you because of your generosity. The guy only cares about his popularity and material things. He's not good for you," Freen asserted.
"Why are you so bitter about him? It's not like he's disturbing you," I responded, attempting to get away from Freen but failing. "And for your information, I wouldn't fall in love. I hate you. You're the most annoying person I've ever known. You're not pretty, and you-" Freen interrupted me with a sudden kiss.
Freen POV
I received a call from my employees, but my attention was drawn to Becky and her mother's interaction, finding it cute and heartwarming. Observing Becky engrossed in dishwashing, I decided to playfully tease her from behind. However, my joy turned into jealousy when I noticed Becky answering a call from Nop. Quickly snatching her phone, I declared, "I seriously don't like the fact that you're still in contact with him."
Becky challenged me, "You're not my real partner, and you don't have the right to control my life. Come on, Freen, give me my phone back." I responded provocatively, "Do you want your phone back?" before callously throwing it against the wall. Becky was shocked and angered by my actions. Pushing her against the wall, I trapped her with an intense gaze. Despite her annoyance, she broke the eye contact, but I quickly took her chin, forcing our eyes to meet again, tightening my grip on her waist.
"What's so special about him that makes you like him so much? I think he's just taking advantage of you because of your generosity," I accused, expressing bitterness toward Nop. Becky attempted to escape, but I blocked her way. As she ranted her frustration towards me, I felt the hurt of her indifference and frustration. The thought of her possibly getting back with Nop stung.
In the midst of our conflicting emotions, unable to contain the frustration, I kissed her passionately. I felt Becky's shock at my sudden move, but I couldn't resist kissing her again, expressing my own frustration and confusion.
Freen's frustration simmered beneath the surface, a tempest waiting to be unleashed. Becky could sense the intensity in her gaze as she closed the distance between them, her lips meeting her with a fierce urgency. The kiss was a torrent of pent-up emotions, a declaration of love in the midst of frustration. Each touch conveyed a longing that transcended words, a passionate dance of lips that spoke volumes about the depth of her feelings.
In the quiet intimacy of the moment, Freen's sudden kiss left Becky in shock. The intensity of the kiss conveyed Freen's frustration, and despite Becky's attempt to break free, Freen eagerly pursued another kiss. Their lips met again, a dance of emotions, until both of them were breathless, prompting them to break apart.
The kiss left Becky feeling a tingling sensation and a certain level of embarrassment. Freen, however, didn't waste time expressing her feelings. "Please don't be with him, just stay with me. Please give me a chance to show that I'm truly serious about having you in my life," Freen earnestly pleaded, her eyes fixed on Becky.
Caught off guard and unsure how to respond to Freen's sudden confession, Becky was left in a momentary state of confusion. Before she could gather her thoughts, Freen's mother unexpectedly interrupted their private moment, providing Becky with a convenient exit from the awkward situation. In a hurried attempt to distance herself from the intensity of the encounter, Becky swiftly moved away, leaving the room with a mix of emotions swirling within her.
