Becky POV

Observing the escalating tension between Freen and Nop, I felt the need to intervene before the situation could become heated. Nop's attempt to test Freen was palpable, and I was uncomfortable with his behavior towards both of us.

"Guys, I think we need to stop. It's getting late," I said, directing my attention to both of them. Taking Freen by the hand, I led her away from the potential argument. Freen, though still visibly upset, followed my lead, and we distanced ourselves from the brewing conflict.

As Nop suggested continuing the evening with a drink, Faye seemed excited about the idea. However, I quickly made it clear that I wasn't interested. "It's okay; I'm not in the mood to drink," I stated, hoping Freen would understand the hint to leave. Fortunately, Freen caught on and followed me.

Despite my attempt to redirect the situation, Nop's challenging tone persisted. Freen, seemingly fueled by the challenge, agreed to join them for a drink. I sighed, bracing myself for what might unfold during the rest of the evening.

As Nop persisted in his challenging tone, Freen began to feel the pressure, the tension rising. Nop's words, "Seems like you're hearing Becky well, huh?" hit a nerve, making Freen lose control of her calm demeanor.

"Fine. I'm going with you," Freen declared, her sudden agreement surprising even Becky. Becky, sensing Freen's agitation, instinctively grabbed her hand, silently urging her to stay calm and not get too involved with Nop's provoking behavior.

As they prepared to leave, Faye, seemingly oblivious to the underlying tension between Nop and Freen, cheerfully exclaimed, "Let's go!" Little did she know the storm that was brewing beneath the surface.

Freen POV

Feeling challenged by Nop's persistent tone, I couldn't help but be affected by his provocation. His words struck a nerve, making me momentarily lose control of my usually calm demeanor. Yeah, I hear her loud and clear," I responded with a hint of frustration, my calm demeanor slipping away. Nop's provoking behavior was pushing my buttons, and I found myself getting entangled in the tension.

Despite Becky's clear hint to disengage from the situation, I felt an overwhelming urge to prove myself, to show that I was the one Becky chose. The challenge in Nop's tone fueled my jealousy, clouding my judgment.

"Let's go for that drink. I'd love to get to know you better," I said with a forced smile, addressing both Nop and Faye. I hoped this decision wouldn't escalate the situation further, but in that moment, I couldn't resist the impulse to confront Nop and assert my presence in Becky's life.

As we headed to the bar, I couldn't ignore the fact that the environment triggered my dark phobia. Rarely venturing into such places, the dimness and loudness heightened my discomfort. Despite struggling with the anxiety that surged within me, I tried my best to maintain composure. The memories of a childhood trauma, of being kidnapped, resurfaced in my mind, adding another layer of challenge to the already tense situation.

Excitement bubbled within Nop as he observed Freen being provoked by his remarks. Beneath his confident exterior, he harbored feelings of insecurity, particularly after witnessing the close interaction between Freen and Becky. Freen's wealth and status only heightened Nop's sense of inadequacy.

"I didn't expect she would be so easily fooled that way. This is going to be interesting," Nop mused, a devilish smile playing on his lips. He saw an opportunity to manipulate the situation to his advantage and perhaps find a moment alone with Becky.

As they all settled around a table adorned with various drinks, Nop proposed a game of truth or dare. The stakes were clear - anyone failing to tell the truth would be compelled to drink. Nop, with a sly intention, subtly aimed to get Freen to consume more drinks, hoping it would align with the devious plan forming in his mind.

Freen felt the frustration mounting within her as she failed multiple times during the truth or dare challenge, especially when the questions centered around Becky. Nop's apparent knowledge about Becky's past and his success in orchestrating the game fueled her vexation. Reluctantly, Freen took part in the drinking rounds, even on behalf of Becky, to prevent her from becoming inebriated.

As the night progressed, the chaotic atmosphere in the dimly lit bar overwhelmed Freen. Regret started to seep in as she found herself feeling the effects of the alcohol. Becky, recognizing Freen's condition, expressed concern, suggesting that she should stop drinking.

"Ooh Freen, it's still early. The game just began," Nop chimed in with sarcasm, further provoking her. However, Becky intervened, firmly putting an end to the situation.

"No! Stop it. It's getting uncontrollable. It looks like you're targeting her to make her look stupid and get drunk. We're leaving right now. Period," Becky declared with unwavering determination as she assisted Freen in leaving the bar.

Becky POV

I found myself caught in the middle of a worsening situation, sensing that Nop was taking advantage of Freen. While I acknowledged that Freen had made a poor decision by engaging in the game, I couldn't ignore Nop's behavior, which was consistently provoking Freen.

"This is getting worse. I have to stop this before Nop makes any more stupid dares," I thought, observing Freen starting to get drunk. I could tell that Freen wasn't herself in the club, struggling inside, but I didn't know the reason behind her unease.

"Freen, are you okay? I think you need to stop drinking. You're getting drunk," I expressed my concern to Freen, hoping to bring her back to a stable state.

Nop, with sarcasm and mockery, responded, "Ooh, Freen, it's still early. The game has just begun." Annoyed with Nop's behavior, I firmly warned him, "No! Stop it. It's getting uncontrollable. It seems like you're targeting her to make her look stupid and get drunk. We are leaving right now. Period."

I helped Freen out of the bar, leaving Nop in shock with my sudden anger. As I assisted Freen onto a bed, I noticed her becoming more intoxicated, mumbling incoherently. "Freen, you should get some sleep," I suggested. However, Freen sat up, expressing her vulnerability, "Why do I feel like Nop knows you better than me? I'm so sad that I failed to show that I'm the one you should be choosing."

Witnessing this new side of Freen, vulnerable and whining when drunk, I couldn't help but feel intrigued and concerned about the layers that were unfolding. This was a facet of Freen that I hadn't expected to explore.
