"Doc, the Hospital Director wants to see you at 3 PM today. may pag-uusapan raw po kayo." Gift informed him as he seated himself on his office chair after his 2nd surgery for the day. "coffee, Doc?"
"Yes, please. Iced Machiatto will do. Grande, Gift. Thanks."
"okay, Doc. Oh, anything to paired it up with?"
"Red Velvet cake, if there's available. or strawberry shortcake."
He said, stretching his arms and legs. His 2nd surgery today lasted for 10 hours, because the patient's blood pressure is so unstable, he nearly smack the head of the cardiologist who approved of the surgery without putting into consideration the patient's condition, in which he found out in the chart that the man has history of hypertension. If not for his skills and Chandler's assistance, he would've just call it a day.
"I'll be right back, Doc."
He just nodded at her and close his eyes, when his cellphone ring. He lazily pick it up and look at the screen.
"Hey, Khai. what's up?"

Xander rolled his eyes and snickered. expect this sassy guy to be the drama king that he is. alam nyang naaasar ito sa kanya kapag tinatawagan nito ang buo nyang pangalan.
"seriously, Khai. what's with the calling of my full government name? did you woke up at the wrong side of your queen sized bed again, your highness?"
He teased. He knows just how to piss this little guy off, specially if he's in a sour mood like this. nakakatuwa lang kasi talaga itong tuksohin dahil masyadong pikunin.
|don't you try to divert my attention, you dimwit. You have been ditching us for two straight nights, Xander. why dear friend, are you planning to marry your scalpel soon? hmm?|
and he totally burst out laughing with Khai's words. kahit kailan talaga, ang taray ng isang 'to.
|wag mo nga akong pagtawanan, bwiset ka! basta, sumama ka sa' min tonight. we're going to Leon Sangria at Calle Encantador. kapag inindyan mo na naman kami, ipa-padlock kita dyan sa opisina mo Alexander, sinasabi ko sa 'yo!|
"relax, Khairie. and I'll just let you know that I still have one surgery later and the Director wants to see me this 3PM. so I can't promise you anything, dear."
He said, teasing his diva friend more. Xander could picture out Khairie's annoyed face upon hearing what he said. kulang na lang marahil bubuga na ito ng apoy sa inis.
|sinusubokan mo ba talaga ako, Alexander? sasama ka o sasama ka?|
napailing na lang si Xander sa bitchiness nito. kaya walang nagtatagal na relationship ang isang ito dahil sa ugali nitong parang siling labuyo sa katarayan.
"oo na, sasama na. what time ba? I told you, may surgery pa 'ko today and a meeting with the HD. teka, what's the occasion nga pala? you won't invite me in a bar if you have nothing to celebrate, Khai. I know you. spill."
|well, you'll know when you get there. basta, you gave your word. asahan ko yan. bye, friend. mwah!|
the call ended, timing na dumating si Gift with the coffee and surprisingly, the Red Velvet cake. nakangiting nilapag nito ang mga pinamili sa mesa nya.
"here, Doc. Your Iced Machiatto and Red Velvet cake."
"oh, thank you G. but wait," he said, taking the box and opening it. "this ain't from SB, ah. this is a SweetWonders Cake. you went to the Mall to buy this? anlayo nun, Gift! hindi ka na dapat nag-abala. nakakahiya naman."
