"perhaps love is like a resting place,
that shelters from the storm,
It exist to give to give you comfort
it is there to keep you warm;
and in those times of trouble when you are most alone,
the memory of love will bring you home..."
***************0o0******************Gabriel is currently buried on his pile of paperworks when the door swing open---and a person whom he never expected to see walk straight to him as if she owns the place.
" Ma'am please, you're not allowed in here if you don't have an appointment!" Dina, his secretary, tried to held the person back by blocking the way. "please, I'm asking you to leave in peace, Ma'am."
"step aside."
the person, a woman, told her secretary and shove her aside. but her secretary stood firm and didn't let the woman in.
"No, Ma'am. you can't just get in here and violate the company's rules and regulations." Dina said, stepping in whenever the woman would attempt to come near his table. "I won't---hey! get back here, Ma'am! please!"
Gabriel put his pen down as he heard the noises of heels clicking on the tiled floor, coming closer. He set the documents aside and now can see two women approaching the stairs of the platform where his office table is on.
"Ma'am please, I'm begging you to get out of Sir Gabriel's office now or I'll call the security personnel!"
The woman, in her all black ensemble and bloody red lipstick---stood infront of his desk with a wide smile. Gabriel on the other hand remained calm and silent, leaning back on his executive chair and looked boredly at her.
"hello, Gabe." she said in an obviously flirty tone, tucking strands of her hair behind her ear. "it's been a while."
"Sir!" His secretary rushed to his side, almost out of breathe. "I'm so sorry, I tried to---"
Gabriel raise his hand and nodded at his exhausted Secretary. The poor lady looks so tired and worried.
"it's alright, Dina." he said. "I'll handle this. You can go back to your office. just be on standby, I'll call for you later."
"o-okay, Sir." Dina said, going back. The woman's witch-like smile widened even more, her fingers touching the nameplate on his table.
"so you're CEO now." she drawled, looking at him seductively. He remained passive. "you're doing great, Gabe. nakaka-proud ka, alam mo ba yun?"
"hindi." sagot nya. "at wala akong interes na alamin. umalis ka na, Estella."
ngunit imbes na umalis, humagikhik lang ito at umikot sa mesa, papunta sa kanya.
"don't even think about getting closer than you already are." He said coldly. "I don't know how you have the guts to step here in my office, but you better heed my warning. leave now."
but the woman, his ex---seems to have thrown all of her inhibitions and morals out of the window and didn't listened to him. tila hindi na yata ito tinatablahan ng hiya.
"relax, Gabe." she said, and boldly step closer to him. Gabriel balled his hands into a fist and sighed deeply, still maintaining his composure. She's still a woman and he has to exercise caution, in order not to hurt her. sya pa rin ang dehado sa huli kapag nanakit sya ng isang babae, kahit kasing baliw pa ng babaeng ito na kaharap nya. at isa pa, hindi sya ganung klaseng tao.
"we're just going to talk." Estella said, she's now an inch away from him, her eyes hooded with desire as she rake his physique with obvious lust. "about us. I want us to start anew, Gabe. I... I want you back."
