"so nakipagkita ka sa estranged brother mo. for what, Black? to warn him about his cousin's debts to the Wolfhound Sangria?" Todd said, hitting the 8 ball. inilagay nito ang cue stick sa ibabaw ng billiard table, his both hands leaning on the table's railings. "I didn't knew you could be heroic and a fool at the same time. those people abandoned you, left you when you need them the most. why help them? you think by helping them, dagdag points yan sa langit?"

Gunther just rolled his eyes when Todd starts to howl in laughter. may sayad talaga ang isang 'to. wala namang nakakatawa sa sinabi nito pero kung makatawa ito, wagas. sayang ang hitsura ng isang' to dahil may tililing sa ulo.

"walang kasalanan sa 'kin ang kapatid ko. and I didn't helped because I cared nor I'm trying to be heroic." Gunther said, getting the billiard balls from the corner pockets of the table. He put it back on the cushion and arranged it in the rack, at the center. "let's just say I'm doing him a favor. Who knows, He might be useful to us in the future."

He took the rack off and get his cue stick, and hit the cue ball. He's playing 8 ball billiards, one of the things he learned living in the streets. uso noon ang bilyaran sa labas ng City High, kung saan sila nagkakilala ng dati nilang kasamahan sa gang.

and speaking of them, he remembered seeing Rigor again after a long time since he helped them with the useless worms who beat up Gabriel before. matapos nun, hindi na sila nagkita pa.

"Rigor is hooking up with your estranged brother. I saw them once getting out from a staycation inn near Imperial Hotel." Todd said, hitting one of the balls, scattering them even more on the cushion. "it seems to me that they're more than just a thing. how'd you feel about that, eh?"

Todd said, smirking. Black positioned himself and hit the 8 ball successfully, ending the game. Todd just chuckled and put the cue stick down. He's still smirking like a jackass, taunting the bespectacled little guy.

"you're pathetic, Rivas. why would you even ask me that? do I look like I'd give a fuck of what it is they're doing?"

Todd crossed his arms on his chest and look smugly at the little, feisty guy.

"well, let's just say that I knew someone who used to like his gang mate before, he even intentionally block an attempt of some thugs to beat him to the pulp. and because of that, sya itong nasaksak imbes na ang taong yun. Oh. the things people could do for love."

Gunther looked away and didn't bothered to reply to this moron's sarcastic shits.

"tama ako, hindi ba? You still have feelings for Rigor. You may not be heroic or a fool, Gunther---but you're a big time masochist."

Gunther turn his back from Todd and hop on the bar stool. there's no use talking to Todd, dahil wala naman itong matinong sasabihin.

"a bottle of Heineken, please."

He told the bartender, and he immediately consume the contents of the ice-cold liquor, bottoms up. He motioned for another one, this time drinking it slowly.

He thought about what Todd said a while ago. and yes, he indeed liked Rigor before when they're still teenagers. He used to see Rigor as an older brother, and developed a hero worship on him. but he didn't expected that a brotherly feeling would turn into something deeper---with him liking the guy more than just a friend.

but that happened so long ago, he even forgot about it. His feelings are now long gone, too. It started to fade when Rigor had a girlfriend, and it was his very first heartbreak. Rigor didn't knew about what he felt, and he never plans to tell him anyways. He's good now, and he's not that young fool he was before. not anymore.
