"romancing someone, making love to them or just simply having sex without consent or not even in a sober state is never sexy. kaya, I'm so proud of you, Xander. hanga ako sa self-control na pinairal mo."
"I know, Khai." He said. "although inaamin ko sa 'yo, ang hirap ng nagawa ko. I... I like him so much. I like him, and it hurts. I have feelings for him but I don't want him to hate me kung hinayaan ko pa ang nangyari."
Khairie smiled at him and reach for his hands, gently tapping it.
"you'll be fine, Xands. you did something right and that's great. at least, you have your conscience clean." wika ni Khairie. "that way, wala kang taong sinaktan at relasyon na sinira. yun naman ang mas mahalaga, hindi ba?"
nangalumbabang nakatingin na lang sya sa pader, still thinking of Gabriel.
"you know what, I think you should go back to the Hospital and work. that'll take that hombre off your mind, and you'll slowly forget about him. kapag busy ka na ulit, bibihira or hindi mo na sya maiisip at all. maniwala ka sa 'kin, effective yun." wika ni Khairie. "by the way, I have photoshoots and interviews, so I'll be home late tonight."
"okay. I'll catch some sleep. tama ka, I need to go back to work. na-miss ko na ring humawak ng scalpel."
"that's cool. it's also one of the ways for you to assess what you really feel for him, kung gusto mo ba talaga sya or you're just being carried away by emotions." Khairie said. "you're just probably confused at lilipas din yang nararamdaman mo."
How he wished that he's just indeed confused and that he didn't liked Gabriel at all.

Xander stripped off his clothes and kick his shoes, no---a pair of footwear that's not his. sa pagmamadali nya, hindi nya na napansin na hindi pala nya pag-aari ang mga sinuot nya.
He can't do anything about it now, no matter how embarrassing it is. He just huffed and remove his boxers and wrap a towel around his waist. He's feeling better somehow, and he badly needed a second shower.
He felt so relaxed and chill while his body is submerged in the enchanting scent of Moroccan oils and orange scented bubble bath. He smiled while resting his head on the tub, a calming music plays on the background. He remained in there for an hour and he even fell asleep, if not for the blaring sound of his cellphone's call alert tone.
He got up from the tub and turn off the music, wearing his robe. when he check whose calling, it's Chandler.
"hey. What's up?"
|hey there, too. im good. Khairie told me na naglasing ka raw ng matundi kagabi. are you alright, Xander? may problema ka ba?|
"I'm fine. how's everything there? hindi ka ba nahihirapan? I'm planning to go back tomorrow."
|well, everything is hectic as always and yes, ang hirap nga na wala ka dito sa department natin. at isa pa nangpe-perwisyo sa 'kin dito ay ang ama mo, Xander. He's been hovering here like a vulture, asking everyone to tell him right away if nakabalik ka na. nakaka-inis na nga, eh.|
"I'm sorry for all the inconvenience, Chan. don't worry, I'm sure to be back tomorrow. I'll deal with him myself."
"okay. we'll wait for you here. bye, Xands."
