"there is something magical about the way a sunset can
make us feel at peace, grateful and alive all at once."
---Morgan Harper Nichols"having a place to go is a home.
having someone to love is family.
having both is a blessing."

***************0o0***************Years later....
"Pete, be careful honey! baka madapa ka nyan!"
Xander had to shout, since alam nyang hindi sya maririnig ng anak dahil sa bilis nitong tumakbo sa malawak na kapatagan. He smiled brightly as he heard the cute and lively giggles of their first born, dashing through the stalks of the giant Sunflowers.
"hey, pangga." Xander turn around and see his husband, carrying their second born in his arms. lumapit ito sa kanya at umupo sa kanyang tabi. "where's Pete?"
Xander smiled and look at the field. Gabriel chuckled.
"tawagin na natin? hapon na rin."
umiling si Xander at kinuha ang bunso nila at kinandong ito. their second child is a pretty, little girl na mas bata ng tatlong taon sa kanilang panganay.
"huwag na muna, pangga. hayaan muna natin, just let him enjoy habang nasa bakasyon pa tayo."
"well, you're right. He can't do these things back home. I'm really happy he's having fun here, pangga."
Gabriel said, putting an arm around him. Xander snuggled close to his husband, holding their youngest child securely. the little girl fell asleep later on.
a year after their wedding ceremony, they decided to have kids. it was a long process, but it's worth the wait.
their first born is a healthy, bouncing baby boy; and they named him Gavin Peterson, or Pete as they fondly call him. their son has all of Gabriel's genes---namana ng panganay nila lahat ng physical traits pati na ugali, personality at mannerisms ni Gabriel. He's six years old and very agile and athletic for his age. at gaya ni Gabriel, mahilig din ito sa mga motorsiklo.
tinagurian pa nga ito nina Rigor na Gabriel version 5.0 na ikinatawa na lang nilang mag-asawa.their youngest, their sweet and lovely Princess, on the other hand---is the replica, the exact carbon copy of Xander. they named her Nathalia Alexandra, and she's now three years of age. Gabriel is so overprotective of their little girl, he even said na hindi nya ito papayagang pumarty at mag-boyfriend until she turns 40. Xander just shook his head and laughed, imagining how their daughter will sneak out of their house someday to see her friends, dahil sobrang strikto ni Gabriel.
The sun is now setting down the horizon. Gabriel whistled, and not a minute passed their son came in running with the restaurant's resident pet dog, a golden retriever named Astro. Jordan, on the other hand, is inside Xander's old room and just stayed there the entire time. matanda na kasi ito at mahina na ring kumilos, but the love they have for him is still the same. kahit saan sila magpunta para magbakasyon, lagi nila itong sinasama.
"Papa, Daddy!"
the little boy called, running to them like a guided missile and Gabriel catch him in time. pawisan ito dahil sa buong araw na paglalaro kaya binihisan ito ni Xander, habang hawak naman ni Gabriel ang tulog nilang bunso.
"there. you're good now, buddy." Xander said after putting a cooling powder on their son's back and changing his shirt.
"look, Dad! The Sun!"
Pete exclaimed, pointing excitedly at the setting sun. it's so glorious and majestic.
the family sit close to each other, watching the ball of fire sink into the horizon---knowing that in every sunset, there's always a new day. that there is beauty in every goodbye, and that no matter the distance and how far two hearts may be with each other---
they will always find their way back home.
