Ch. 30: it's all in his head

Xander shivered inside as Gabriel's face gets closer and closer; he could feel the heat in his body rising up, his grip on the latter's jacket tightens. He put his arms around Gabriel's neck, and Gabriel pulled him by the waist---their bodies now against each other, not even air can pass between them.

Gabriel's right hand gripped on  Xander's waist, squeezing it as the man's left hand held Xander's head, to angle it perfectly as their lips met. the moment their lips touch, Xander moaned as Gabriel bit his lower lip seeking entrance. Xander opened his mouth, and Gabriel wasted no time to deepen the kiss. the latter sip on the Doctor's tongue, as he dominated the collision of their lips.

Xander panted and is almost out of breathe when they momentarily parted but Gabriel pulled him in again and kiss him, not even allowing him to talk. Xander fisted Gabriel's hair, savoring the intoxicatingly sweet yet forbidden kisses Gabriel gives him.

Gabriel isn't planning to stop, Xander could feel his huge hand making its way inside his polo, touching the bare skin of his back. Xander pulled away from the kiss, eyes half-closed and hid his burning face on the crook of Gabriel's neck, breathing heavily. his lips are swollen and his heart beats so fast that Xander could feel it almost getting out of his ribcage....

"Doc?"

someone is calling him, but he's far too tired from the kiss that he wanted to rest for a while. He just wanted to hold Gabriel close to him, feeling his warmth. It feels so strange, he feels like his head is swimming from what just happened.....

"Xander, hey!"

napabitaw si Xander mula sa pagkakayakap kay Gabriel at nalilitong tumingin sa kanyang paligid. they're still in the place, but the Meteor shower is gone. wala sa isip na napatingin si Xander kay Gabriel na halatang nagtataka sa mga kilos nya.

"ayos ka lang ba?" tanong nito sa kanya. "namumula ka ng husto. may dinaramdam ka ba? may masakit ba sa 'yo?"

Xander shook his head and look away, biting his nail. he badly want to smack himself or just dig a hole on the  ground and bury himself in there. the embarrassment he felt is so intense, he wanna run away and hide from Gabriel forever. He felt so gross of himself having those wild thoughts in his head, that he don't know how to face Gabriel now.

"Xander, naririnig mo ba 'ko?"

Xander sighed deeply and tried his best to have a straight face as he turned back around to Gabriel. He put up a smile, even though deep inside---he's trembling and his nerves are wrecking.

"I... I'm.. I'm fine. uhm.. can we go now? medyo gutom na rin kasi ako..."

His stomach growled, as if conspiring with him to hide the second hand embarrassment. kung pwede nga lang syang matunaw at maglaho na lang, ginawa nya na. He's a fuckng man but he's having promiscuous thoughts with another man---and it damned freaks him out.

hindi sya dapat makaramdam ng ganito, hindi ito tama.

tumunog ang cellphone ni Gabriel na agad tiningnan nito. Xander saw Gabriel smiled before the latter put the cellphone back in his jeans pocket.

"is that Gift?" Xander ask. Gabriel shook his head and mounted at his bike.

"no. it's my girlfriend." Gabriel replied. daig pa ni Xander ang binuhosan ng nagyeyelong tubig sa sagot nito. the heat that he felt awhile ago vaporized into thin air when reality hit him back with the rampaging truth----

Gabriel has a girlfriend.

a not so friendly reminder to him that he must not fantasize about the man at all because he ain't single. that like him, he's also a man---that he's fucking straight and he already belongs to someone else. He knows what it feels like being cheated on by his ex, so he must not do it with Gabriel. He doesn't want to be the cause of the ruin of someone's relationship. hindi sya ganung uri ng tao.
