I was in Engineering with Raven, helping her go over the map Bellamy had tried to describe to her, when Clarke walked in with a Grounder behind her.
"Has he checked in yet?" she asked us.
"No," Raven said as she eyed the Grounder behind Clarke suspiciously. "Worried someone's gonna take a shot at you inside the Ark?"
Clarke turned and addressed the man. "Wait outside, rider." He nodded in acknowledgment and turned, walking out the door.
She turned back around and faced me, Raven's back turned to her now. "Lexa's orders."
"Whatever, Clarke," Raven said harshly.
Clarke turned and looked at the radio reluctantly. "He's late. What if something happened to him?"
"Clarke, he's Bellamy. He's fine," I assured her.
"He'll be fine," Raven said to the two of us.
Clarke turned and finally paid attention to what Raven has been working on, examining every mark on the transparent white-board.
"You've been busy... Why are you focusing on the dam?" Clarke asked harshly, walking over and seeing the blueprints Raven had come up with. She spun around to face Raven. "I told you acid fog was our priority."
"Clarke, she's only one person," I exclaimed, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Until Bellamy gets eyes on their dispersal system, there's only so much I can do," Raven continued on to what I had said.
Clarke huffed slightly before turning and looking at Raven's board again. "Fine. Tell me about the dam," she said reluctantly. "Can we cut off their power?"
"Maybe. I'm still playing with a few things."
I walked over and uncrossed my arms, picking up the tone generator and pressing the button, the frequency ringing out loudly. "How many of these have you made?"
"Only two so far, but-"
"Two? That's not enough!" Clarke cut Raven off. "There'll be Reapers everywhere."
"High-frequency tone generators don't grow on trees, Clarke. Wick is scrounging for parts," Raven tried to explain to the blonde girl.
"Raven! I am about to leave for Tondc, where Lexa and the heads of all twelve Grounder clans are waiting for me to tell them we're a go," Clarke started to ramble. "Only, we're not a go. Because they still have acid fog, and we only have two damn tone generators!"
My face softened and I frowned at my friend. "Hey, Clarke. We'll be ready," I said, Clarke looking at me knowingly. "We will."
The three of us looked at each other before static sounded over the radio, Bellamy's voice filtering in shortly after. "Ark Station, do you read me? Anybody there?"
I sighed in relief as I quickly picked up the receiver. "Bellamy, you're late. Every three hours, means every three hours."
"Are you through, princess?" he said to me, a dark tone to his voice. I frowned and handed the device to Clarke.
"Have you found the source of the acid fog?" Clarke asked him.
"No, that's gonna have to wait," Bellamy responded to her.
"What? No! Nothing is more important than that," Clarke tried to reason.
"Our friends are. They've started taking them from the dorm, one at a time, every few hours."
