Bellamy and I spent most of the next day in his tent together. It was Unity Day, after all. We spent the morning listening to Jaha's speech from his tent and heard Jasper excitedly exclaim when Monty successfully made more of his famous moonshine. The two of us finally decided it was time to make our an appearance once night rolled around.
"We should probably get out there, huh?" I asked quietly, looking up to meet Bellamy's gaze.
He pressed a gentle kiss to my lips and I closed my eyes, savoring the feeling before he pulled away. "Yeah, we probably should."
I smiled at him and Bellamy returned it before we stood and slid back into our clothes. I opted for one of Bellamy's shirts instead of my own, he didn't seem to mind.
"Is it bad that I enjoy seeing you in my clothes?" he asked me with a grin.
I smiled and shrugged. "I don't know, is it?"
Bellamy chuckled as we finished up before exiting his tent and making our way to the edge of camp.
We both grabbed a drink from Monty and Jasper before grabbing some food. We headed to the wall so Bellamy could find a good view to look over the camp.
Clarke walked up to the two of us. "Hey. The comms are still dead, they cut out during the pageant."
Bellamy smirked. "Best Unity Day ever."
Clarke laughed as she looked at the fire. "Do you really think now is a good time to be having a party? I mean, the Grounder is out there-"
"Grounders," Bellamy cut her off. "By now, he's made it home. He's probably putting together a lynch mob. Relax, I've got security covered."
"Why don't you get a drink? You look like you could use one," I told her, nodding towards Monty's table.
"I could use more than one," Clarke told us honestly.
"Then have more than one. Clarke, the Exodus ship carrying your mother comes down in two days. After that, the party's over. Have some fun while you still can. You deserve it," Bellamy told her with a lopsided-grin.
Clarke laughed and nodded. "Yeah, okay." Clarke began to walk away, but she turned back to face us. "So do you guys, by the way."
"I'll have my fun when the Grounders come," Bellamy told her with a half-smile.
"All right," Clarke laughed, finally walking away to the moonshine.
Bellamy smiled as he looked at me. He held his apple up to me. "Unity Day."
I giggled and rolled my eyes as he took a bite of his fruit.
The two of us hung around each other for awhile before we parted ways, mingling with other campers and them congratulating us for finding that bunker and the guns. I saw Clarke headed in Bellamy's direction and decided to hang back.
