Octavia had gone out with Indra to prove her worth while I stayed in med bay. Jackson was teaching me more about medical knowledge.

"Like this?" I asked him, stepping back to show him my work.

We had a man come in from training, a gash on his arm from one of the Grounders striking him. Jackson walked me through how to clean and dress the wound, watching me to make sure I made no mistake.

"Exactly like that. Good job, Stella," Jackson said with a smile, which I returned.

The doors to the med bay opened suddenly and I heard Abby yelling orders.

"Jackson! We've got two patients. You get the radiation burns, I've got the gunshot wound," she said, both patients being carried on stretchers.

"Clarke! What the hell is a Mountain Man doing here?" I questioned the blonde. She shot me a look that said 'don't ask'.

"Set him down," Jackson demanded, gesturing to a bed for the man.

"I need blood. O-Neg. A lot," I heard Abby say to someone across the room.

"This guy's from Mount Weather. We need to keep him alive," Clarke told Jackson and I pointedly.

"Lock him down," Jackson ordered the guard.

Jackson grabbed his light and examined the man. I walked over, curious about the wounds.

"There was a tear in his suit, but we fixed it in the field," Clarke explained the reason behind his burns.

I noticed Raven walk up to us. "Anything from Bellamy?"

"Not yet," she shook her head, frowning at me.

"Then why aren't you with the radio?" Clarke snapped.

"Clarke," I snapped harshly.

"Octavia just took my place. How about you back off?" Raven snapped back at Clarke.

Jackson tried to remove the Mountain Man's mask and Clarke stopped him.

"No! Leave it on. It's the only thing keeping him alive," she informed him.

"Clarke, he can't treat him if he can't touch him," I explained to her.

"I can rig up some scrubbers in the air lock. Give me twenty minutes," Raven said, rushing off to do just that.

"Damn it!" we heard Abby exclaim. "I'm losing him. I need the blood now!"

Jackson and I walked over to her, Abby putting Jackson's hands over the Grounder's wound.

"Okay. Come on, stay with me. Come on, fight," Abby said, holding the man's head in her hands.

The Grounder looked up at Abby weakly before groaning in pain and letting out a long breath, his eyes closing. I frowned.

"He's gone," Abby said sadly, stepping back as Indra walked up.

"Your fight is over," Indra said as she cut a lock of his hair. Indra turned towards Clarke, walking slowly up to her. "A killer lives, while a warrior dies? This is your way?"

"I'm sorry, Indra. But he can help us beat Mount Weather," Clarke explained.

"Then let me make him talk," Indra said.

"No. We're not torturing him."

"Clarke's right. He might just talk because we saved his life," I told Indra, helping my friend.
