After Bellamy recovered from Murphy hitting him, him and I took off into the woods to find Charlotte. We were running quickly when we finally saw Charlotte alone between some trees.

Bellamy ran up to her, putting his hand over her mouth to keep her scream quiet. We kept running, Bellamy had a grip on Charlotte's arm to keep her moving.

"Let me go!" the girl cried out as she struggled.

"I'm trying... hey, hey! I'm trying to help you," Bellamy told her.

Charlotte pulled away from him. "I'm not your sister! Just stop helping me! I'm over here!" Charlotte yelled, running back the way we came.

Bellamy grabbed her quickly. "Are you trying to get us all killed?" he scolded.

Charlotte glanced between the two of us before her eyes landed back on Bellamy. "Just go, okay? I'm the one they want," she exclaimed.

Bellamy grabbed her jacket. "Okay, Charlotte, listen to me. We won't leave you," he said.

The young girl looked at him pleadingly. "Please, Bellamy," she said sadly.

That didn't work for Bellamy. He picked Charlotte up and threw her over his shoulder when she tried to run from us again.

"Murphy! I'm over here!" she called again.

"Come on out, Charlotte! Come on out," I heard Murphy call.

We stopped running when we came to a cliff side, stopping fast so we didn't fall. Charlotte screamed in fright.

"Put me down!" she yelled at Bellamy.

Bellamy finally put her down as we looked over the edge. "Damn it!" he muttered.

"Bellamy!" Murphy said, causing us to spin around quickly.

"You cannot fight all of us. Give her up," he said, gesturing to Charlotte.

Bellamy and I stood in front of her protectively.

"Maybe not, but I guarantee I'll take a few of you with me," Bellamy told Murphy.

Clarke and Finn ran out from the woods between us and Murphy's group. "Bellamy! Stop!" Clarke said, putting a hand up to stop Murphy.

"This has gone too far. Just calm down. Murphy, baby, come on. We can talk about this," I said, trying to calm him before I walked closer.

Murphy looked at Charlotte for a moment, distracting me before he grabbed me, putting his knife to my throat as I gasped.

"John, what are you doing?" I asked him as my heart pounded in my chest.

"I'm sick of listening to you talk," Murphy said next to my ear.

"Let her go," Bellamy said, stepping forward.

Murphy spun and held his opposite hand out. "I will slit her throat!" he warned Bellamy.

Bellamy's eyes my mine. I shook my head gently at him as tears pricked my eyes.

"No, please. Please don't hurt her," Charlotte pleaded to Murphy.

"Don't hurt her? Okay, I'll make you a deal. You come with me right now, I will let her go," Murphy said, patting my shoulder.

"Don't do it, Charlotte," I told the girl as Bellamy held her back.

"No! No, I have to!" Charlotte cried as she struggled against Bellamy's hold.

"Murphy, this is not happening," Bellamy growled out.
