After I made sure Raven was doing okay, I exited Engineering and made my way out of the Ark. I made sure my knives were tucked safely away in the right places and walked to the armory and shooting range.

"Hey, Stella. What can I do for you?" the guard, I think his name was Liam, said to me with a grin as I looked around at the guns.

"I need a gun. I'm going to Tondc, see if anyone needs help," I explained to him.

I picked up a rifle like the ones Bellamy and I had shot so long ago at the bunker. I smiled softly at the memory.

"Woah, be careful with that. That's a big gun for you," Liam tried to say, walking over and holding his hand out, attempting to take the gun.

I raised a brow skeptically. "Oh, I'm sorry. Little ole me can't possibly handle such a big, scary gun," I sassed, rolling my eyes.

I carried the weapon over to the range, looking down the sight and aiming at the target. I took the right stance, making sure I was positioned correctly before firing. I grinned triumphantly as I hit the target directly on.

I turned and faced Liam after clicking the safety on, his eyes wide and his jaw dropped slightly. He cleared his throat when he realized I was looking at him.

"Lucky shot," he said with a shrug, clearly not believing I was that good.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Yeah, sure, Liam. I'm taking this gun to Tondc. Thanks," I said, wrapping the sling around my torso, the gun resting against my side.

I walked away from the armory, ignoring Liam's calls after me, and towards the gates, the guards stopping me from leaving.

"Stop right there. No one leaves until the Chancellor gets back," one of them said to me.

"I'm going to see if the Chancellor needs help in Tondc. She told me it was allowed once we heard from Bellamy," I lied through my teeth.

The two guards looked at each other before nodding at me. "Alright. Out you go."

I smiled sweetly and thanked them as I exited, quickly making my way through the woods and towards the village. My eyes shot towards the sky when I heard a loud rocket-like noise shooting through the air.

"No!" I shouted in fear, watching as the missile flew, the device striking Tondc and making the ground shake.

I held onto my gun and ran as fast as I could, getting to the village in record time. I climbed the side of the hill, gasping when I saw the damage below. I surveyed the area, looking for anyone.

I spotted Abby down below, so I quickly slid down the side of the hole, running to her. "Abby!"

"Stella," she breathed out, pulling me in for a hug when she saw I was okay.

"What can I do to help?" I asked, looking around frantically at the chaos.

"We need bandages!" I heard Nyko yell.

I spun around quickly and ran to him with Abby on my heels. "Right here!"

We knelt next to the girl Nyko laid down and tried to help.

"It's no use," Nyko told us.

"She's still alive," I pointed out, panicking.

"We save those who can be saved," Nyko said before standing and walking to help others.

Abby and I looked at each other before back at the girl on the ground. "I'm so sorry," Abby whispered softly before standing and walking away.

I frowned and reached down, closing her eyes as I watched her chest rise and fall slower and slower. I felt a tear fall when I realized she was dead, standing and walking away from her and over to help others in need.
