Chapter 46

Axel's POV: 

I woke up still curled into Maddi and Jaxon, each of them had hands on me still but they were sleeping too. I stretched out my body before I carefully extracted myself from the two of them and stood up from the floor. I rubbed my eyes as I padded down the hallway to the kitchen. Jeremy was in the kitchen when I walked in but he was working on his laptop so I just silently went over and grabbed one of my cups and some water. 

"Hey, Buddy. Have a good nap?" 

I nodded and walked over to him, looking at his laptop. "Whatchya doing?" 

"Oh I was just placing an order for the shop." 

"The shop?" 

"I own a mechanic shop." 

"I didn't know you were a mechanic." 

"I'm not. I just own one for extra income. I actually work in a Law firm. Which... I also happen to own." 

"Ah... no wonder you're always at our games. You can make your own schedule." 

"For the most part. I rarely go into court, I'm an actual lawyer but I inherited the firm from my Dad when he died. That makes me the CEO." 

"Cool." I nodded. 

"It can be. How are you feeling?" 

I shrugged. "I'm fine. Kind of hungry."

His eyes took in my sippy cup. "Want me to make you something?" 

I shook my head. "I can do it."

"I don't mind. I'm pretty much done here anyways, and I should probably get Jax and Maddi something too. Gonna have to wake them up soon." 

"Where's Grant?" 

"He's taking a shower." 

"Oh. I can wait." 

Jeremy watched me for a second. "You know... I don't mind taking care of you when he's not around. I'm a Daddy too. Making food or giving you something to drink or comforting you until he's here isn't a big deal. It doesn't bother me." 

"I'm not your responsibility. You already have two." 

"I'm not telling you to let me touch you inappropriately. I'm saying that you three are a package deal. You're best friends and you're all littles. Making you something to eat is no skin off my back when I am going to have to do it when they wake up anyways." 

"I know... I just think I'm gonna go up with Grant." 

"Okay." Jeremy gave me a soft smile. "It's been a bit since you've been with him so I get it." 

"Thank you." 

"No problem." He ruffled my hair before I left while he went back to his laptop.

I made my way up the stairs and to our room. The shower was still running when I entered and I walked silently into the bathroom. I stripped my clothes and put my glasses on the bathroom counter before I carefully climbed into the shower. 

"Hey, Baby. I didn't know you were awake."

I nodded and walked into his bare wet body and wrapped my arms around his waist. Grant moved so I was also in the spray from the shower and wrapped his arms around me, running one hand through my hair. 

"I've got you." He whispered against the top of my head. 

I closed my eyes and sank into him feeling slightly off kilter with everything that happened today.
