Axel's POV:

I woke up shortly after I had fallen asleep. I only knew that because the movie Coco was still playing and wasn't over yet. I blinked a couple of times before sitting up. As I sat up I noticed how tight my chest was and that I really wasn't getting much air. Looking around the room I noticed it was just me and Maddi in the room. I took the binky out of my mouth and put my feet on the floor.

"Mads?"

"Yea- Are you okay?"

"I need a drink."

"I can text Grant to bring one, he should be back soon. What's wrong?" She came and kneeled in front of me.

"I cant... I can't get enough air."

"Shit. One second." She pulled her phone up and called someone. "Hey, where the fuck is his inhaler?"

"No, he just woke up and asked for a drink and said he can't get enough air."

"Okay." She hung up the phone and quickly walked over to Grant's bag. "He's coming, sweetie, just hang on."

"I'll.. be... here." I attempted a lame joke. I placed my arms in a cross over my head and tilted my head back against the couch. "Find... it?"

"No. I-I can't find it. Keep trying to breathe." She sounded panicked.

"It's.... Okay... Mads." I reassured.

"No. It's not okay. You can't breathe and I can't find your inhaler. He said it was in this bag. "

All of a sudden the doors slammed open. Grant and Master Kyle rushed in. Grant ran over to his bag and unzipped a side pocket and yanked the inhaler out before rushing over to me.

"Hey, here. Take this."

My hand shook as I reached for the inhaler. I grabbed it and brought it to my mouth. I pushed the button and inhaled, only making it about three seconds before I started coughing.

"Again, baby."

I took another puff. I held my breath for four seconds and coughed. I winced as I sucked in a deep breath. I let my eyes close for a second as my body relaxed.

"Here's some water, Grant."

I opened my eyes and watched Grant take the bottle for a second before handing it back. "Do you have room temp? It can't be cold."

"Yeah, one sec." Kyle walked over to behind his desk and crouched down.

"How'd you know it can't be cold?" I asked.

"Baby, I've known you since we were 4 and 5. My mom's a doctor, you think she didn't teach me how to handle an asthma attack?"

I chuckled. "That's true."

"Here."

I grabbed the water and opened it, taking a grateful sip. "Thank you."

I sat up and glanced around, everyone was watching me worriedly. "I'm fine."

"That's the second one today."

"I know.... I... I had a bad dream."

"You have asthma attacks when you have a bad dream?"

I shrugged. "Sometimes."

"Okay, what did you dream?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Baby, I need to know how to help?"

I shook my head. "It was just a stupid dream."

"Axel.."
