Axel's POV:

"Dude! There you are! We have five minutes before we are on." Jaxon came running into the hallway I had been hiding in.

"I-I-I Can't. I can't go out there." I shook my head. I was close to a full blown panic attack.

"Yes, you can. Just imagine it's just us in your basement. Do not let your fear win."

"There's so many people out there."

"It's okay! This is just for fun. Besides with the lights out there you won't even be able to see them."

I sighed and nodded before letting him help pull me to my feet.

"Is your guitar tuned?"

"Yeah."

I slowly followed him backstage where we met up with a friend of his that was playing the piano for us. I swung the strap for my guitar over my head and settled it on my shoulder.

"God... I'm gonna puke." I mumbled, trying to take deep breaths.

"Hey... We got this." Jaxon held his fist up so we could bump wrists like we did before games.

"What if I freeze?"

"You won't. Just close your eyes and sing." He gave me a reassuring smile.

"Okay." I bumped my wrist into his.

"Thank you, Suzannah for that lovely Tap dance. Now, for tonights final act and the moment you've all been waiting for... Our very own singer song writer Axel Johnson! Accompanied by Jaxon James and Will Montgomery."

I took one more shaky breath as people set up the microphones and stools before stepping out onto the stage to the sound of applause and loud cheers. Jaxon nodded at me as I almost froze. I took a seat on the stool and adjusted my guitar. I knew my family and Grant's family were in the audience and my ring glinting off the light caught my attention. Jeremy and Kyle and Sophia would also be here. Once the microphones were all set I took one more deep breath before checking that Jaxon and Will were ready. I closed my eyes and took a breath before I started to play.

Once Jaxon's guitar joined mine I could feel the tenseness in my body starting to dissipate. Once we hit the chorus the shakiness was disappearing too and I was starting to get into it. I actually felt relaxed and drifting easily through it. When we finished and the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, standing on their feet, I felt overwhelmed with happiness.  I turned to look at Jaxon and he smiled back as everyone started chanting for an encore.

"What do you say, Axel? Got another song in you?" Mr. Harris asked into his own microphone.

I looked at Jaxon with a raised brow. This was the only song we practiced besides the Sia song.

"Up to you." He mouthed.

I blew out a breath. I hadn't even been able to bring myself to listen to the song since I had my episode but I nodded. He got up and ran to the side of the stage handing the guitar away to will before taking the necessary time to set up his drum thing. Once he and will were set he nodded at me and the crowd grew quiet, taking seats again as we got set to start.
