Me, Lloyd, Nya and Garmadon were watching the palace from a distance.
"He knows we're coming. But we can't just hide here and do nothing." Lloyd said
"We have to wait until nightfall." Nya replied.
"There's too many." I agreed.
"And then what? Every minute we're out here, he grows more powerful and—" Lloyd began before he was interrupted.
"Son, Chen grows strong by taking from others. But real power does the opposite. It empowers those around you. Like the way you've empowered me. We will get you to Chen, and you will destroy his staff." Sensei Garmadon replied. I coughed loudly.
"You too, Scar right?" Sensei Garmadon added. I nodded
Garmadon ran the plan with me and Lloyd a couple times.
"Remember, destroy the staff and everyone's power returns. You came here to make your team a whole. Finish the job." Sensei Garmadon instructed.
"And uh, why did you come here Scar?" Sensei Garmadon asked.
"Long story, I'll tell you another time" I replied casually.
While sneaking in Lloyd accidentally activated the alarms, alerting the Cultists.
"There's too many of them." Lloyd shouted.
"I'll hold them. You three, find Chen" Nya tells us. We leave, but Clouse finds us.
"Look out! Go, son, you too Scar. Leave Clouse to me." Sensei Garmadon instructed.
"Good luck." Lloyd said.
"Your father doesn't believe in luck." Clouse said.
"I know." Lloyd replied.
"He wasn't talking to him." I added. We leave.
"Whoa! Ugh, Chen and his trapdoors." Lloyd complained. We hear the Anacondrai serpent.
"Huh? Uh-oh" I say
"Lloyd! This way! Come on!" Kai called.
"Kai, you escaped. What happened?" Lloyd asked.
"I managed to slip free, but Chen took all our powers. If we can find them—" Kai began
"There's no time. I have to stop Chen. Alone if I have to" Lloyd told him. I coughed again.
