A spy for a spy

*Scar's POV*

It was time for my battle. I was against Tox. We were put in a water theamed arena. Each of us on different sides, water seperating us with a land piece about 100 meters away with the Jadeblade.

"Scar, Master of Protection vs Tox, Master of Poison. FIGHT" Chen shouted. I ran forward and used my shield braclet to run across the water. Meanwhile Tox used her power to fly, as poison was similar to air. Tox was fast but just before she could reach the blade I punched her. Looks like Sensei Len's training was coming in. Tox tried to hit me but I dodged and hit her in the face again, then used my leg to swipe her feet, making her fall on the floor. I ran towards the blade and activated my shield so Tox couldn't stop me. She tried to grab me but the forcefield/shield stopped her. I grabbed the blade and held it out in satisfaction. 

"Master of Protection, winner!" Chen shouted. Tox fell through a trap door and I went back to my friends.

"Great job" Skylor commented.

"Thanks" I replied.

"You did well, probably the fastest battle" Lloyd added.

"I tried my best" I answered as I was trying to be modest.

After the battle we had a big feast. The seating arrangement was Mr Pale, Jay, Sensei Garmadon, Lloyd, Myself, Skylar, Kai, Neuro, Griffin and Master of Shadow.

"Try the horned wasp eggs. Delicious!" Chen advised.

"Uh, I think I'll pass." Lloyd replied. I nodded.

"Oh, lighten up, Green ninja. This isn't a trick. This is a feast to celebrate the nine of you making it to the second round. And I must congratulate the Master of Protection defeat over Master of poison. She was a bit hard to swallow, am I right?" Chen told him. The Kabuki start laughing while I shuffled in my seat uncomfortably.

"Laugh harder! Hahahaha!" Chen told the Kabuki making them laugh harder.

"You can relax, Lloyd. Even if there was a fight, now that we told the others about Chen's dirty plot to steal our Powers, we're safe in our secret alliance." Kai comforted Lloyd.

"I tried to enlist Shadow, but that dude's throwing some serious shade." Griffin told us.

"Agreed, I don't trust that guy one bit, he's up to something" I lied even though I knew he wasn't betraying us by being with Chen.

"Well, if you plan to stop Chen, you'll need everyone on board. Each fighter that loses gives him strength. Soon he'll be too powerful for even all of you combined to overcome." Sensei Garmadon told us.

"It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating about that I am stealing everyone's power. I am. But it's all for this" Chen tell us. He claps and the Kabuki waves their hand fans.

"No, no. Not you, staff. I mean my real staff. The Staff of Elements. It holds the power of your fallen foes, and soon it'll hold all but one. For the last standing in my will win this prize and be the greatest fighter ever in the history in!" Chen continued making everyone whisper.

"You lied. What about the spell?" Lloyd exclaimed.

"Spell? What spell?" Clouse asked.

"Don't believe him, it's just another trick. Neuro read Clouse's mind and saw it. Tell them what you saw, Neuro." Lloyd replied. I looked at Neuro hoping that he would help us out even though originally in the seasons he didn't.
