DAGGERING ELIJAH HAD AN UNFORSEEN CONSEQUENCE. The consequence being that Katherine was now free to exit the tomb. Damon had apparently found her in his shower last night. He'd told her about Katherine being free in the morning when she'd come over to help him look through Johnathan Gilbert's journals in search of the place where the witches were burnt. Ofcourse, Raina already knew as Katherine had paid her a visit that night. The original curled up in an armchair as she flicked through the pages.
She could think of far more fun ways to spend her day but if Elijah considered this massacre spot something that may be able to take down her and Klaus it was far too important. "Good morning, Damon" Raina looked up at the sound of the dopplegänger's voice. Was it Elena or Katherine pretending to be her? In truth, she couldn't tell nor did she care enough to.
Damon used his vampire speed to rush over to her and slam her against the wall, holding her by the throat "What are you doing here? I told you to leave" he snapped. "What is your problem?" Elena/Katherine asked. "You're wearing her clothes? Like that's going to work" Damon scoffed "You think I'm Katherine? Why would you think that? Katherine's in the tomb! Isn't she?" Elena/Katherine asked.
Damon released her as Stefan entered the room "What the hell's going on here?" He asked. "I don't know, you tell me. Is Katherine in the tomb or not?" Elena/Katherine asked worriedly. Stefan used his vampire speed to slam the other dopplegänger into the wall by her throat. "What are you doing?!" Elena/Katherine 2 asked. Raina put the book away, if she lost her dopplegänger because Katherine wanted to play a game there would be hell to pay.
"How could you do this?!" Stefan asked. "Stefan, you're hurting me!" Elena/Katherine 2 protested. "Stop it, Katherine!" The ripper snapped. "Stop what? It's getting really easy being you" Katherine asked. So she was the one who'd entered the room first.
"What is she doing here?" Elena asked. "When we killed Elijah, it broke the compulsion and freed the bitch from the tomb" Damon explained "How's that possible?" Stefan asked. "He's an Original. They can do a lot of things your average vampire can't" Raina shrugged. "I don't want you here. Get her out of here" Elena said to Katherine. "You need me, Elena. You all do" The vampire dopplegänger said. "Like hell" Stefan scoffed. "We all want the same thing... Klaus and Raina dead. Yet here you all are, running around like chickens with their heads cut off" Katherine said.
It was part of the cover, Katherine would act as if she wanted the originals dead and since Raina couldn't be everywhere at once, she would help keep an eye on things. "I don't need your help and I don't want it" Elena snapped "And that's incredibly stupid of you. Do you know where Klaus and Raina are? When they're coming, what they looks like?" Katherine asked.
"If you know something, say it or get out" Damon snapped. "Fine. Then I'll just go to the Grill and have some lunch... Maybe Aunt Jenna's free for a bite" Katherine said before she left the room.
