RAINA CROSSED HER ARMS, NOT TOO HAPPY WITH THE RECENT INTERRUPTION. She wondered if Klaus was hearing Stefan out just to spite her, she wasn't foolish enough to believe that he'd forgotten all about her recent escapade. "You don't need to kill Jenna. I'll take her place" Stefan said. "Oh, I don't know. I rather appreciate the symmetry of three women. Three goddesses. Sacrificed at nature's altar" Klaus said.

Raina rolled her eyes. So dramatic. She ignored Elena and Jenna who were conversing behind her. Surely they were not stupid enough to try and make an escape plan with her so close by? "Don't play games with me. You'll get what you want either way" Stefan reasoned. "You're quite the hero, aren't you? I've heard that about you" Klaus said.

"Just make the trade. Me for Jenna" Stefan said. Raina huffed, she'd been hearing variations of this same exchange for the past five minutes or so. Finally, Klaus and Stefan descended the clifftop and approached the rings of fire. "Quite the predicament. You know, it's funny, all this talk about preserving family, and here's Stefan, granting your wish" Klaus said to the dopplegänger.

"Stefan..." Elena murmured. "It's okay" Stefan assured her softly. "If you two start making grand declarations of eternal love, I will throw up" Raina said irritably. "Well" Klaus pointed a stake between Jenna and Stefan "Who's it going to be, Elena?" He asked. "I don't give a bloody fuck who dies as long as one of them does" Raina replied, she could already predict the dopplegänger's response.

"No" Elena shook her head "Oh, don't worry. There's actually no choice" Klaus used his vampire speed to get behind Stefan and staked him in the back. The Salvatore let out a scream of pain before he crumbled to the ground.

"No! Stefan! No!" Elena cried as Klaus ripped the stake out of Stefan's back, leaving behind a sizable chunk of wood. The corners of Raina's lips curled up in a smirk. "I have other plans for your boyfriend. I want him alive. But for now..." Klaus snapped Stefan's neck. "Whenever you're ready, Greta"

Greta began chanting the next part of the spell which dispelled the ring of fire surrounding Jenna. "Your turn" Klaus said. "No, Jenna, no!" Elena attempted to get to Jenna but the fire around her flared up, preventing her from getting to her aunt. The newly turned vampire looked over at her  "It's alright, Elena. I know what I have to do"

She then used her vampire speed to get to Greta and viciously sunk her fangs into the witch's neck. Raina rushed forward and pulled Jenna off Greta while Klaus staked her in the back. In any other circumstance Raina would have let the witch die but right now, she needed her. Jenna let out a gasp as she fell to the ground. "Jenna, no!" Tears began to stream down Elena's face. "Just turn it off. Jenna. Turn it off. You won't be scared anymore"

Neither sibling paid much attention to the dopplegänger as Klaus drove the stake into Jenna's heart. "No! Jenna! No! Jenna!" Elena cried harder as Jenna's skin turned grey. Klaus left the stake buried in the vampire's heart as he stood up. Greta began chanting the next part of the spell as she poured Jenna's blood into the ceremonial bowl.

The siblings approached the dopplegänger together "It's time" Klaus said. Raina had a wolfish grin on her face, her fangs on display. The circle of fire disappeared from around Elena. Raina didn't waste any time, she used her vampire speed to get to Elena and hoisted her up. Klaus stood on the other side of the dopplegänger as the two of them sunk their fangs into her neck. Raina let herself be consumed by the feeling of euphoria as the blood hit her tongue.

Finally, she felt the dopplegänger go limp in her arms. She was drained of all her blood and her head was just barely on her neck. The hybrids released her, causing her body to fall to the ground. The flame in the bowl was extinguished. The dopplegänger lay lifeless. Stefan stared at her, still lying on the ground.

Raina could feel the taste of the blood fading fast, replaced by a burning ache deep in her veins. "I can feel it. It's happening" Klaus said. Raina let out a soft, breathy chuckle. The two of them looked up at the full moon just as the transition started. Despite the victory, Raina couldn't help the scream of pain as her bones began to crack. They bent at all the wrong angles with sickening crunches. She glanced at her brother's face, his eyes glowed amber but the black veins under them remained.

Every breath felt like daggers to her chest, the ground was slipping away from her. This time she did not fight it. This time, Raina embraced the pain, she embraced the wrathful, destructive creature breaking free of its chains.

"Yes, yes!" Klaus exclaimed, despite the agony. Suddenly the siblings were thrown into the air. The flames in the bowl ignited again, startling Greta. The witch turned, hearing Bonnie come down the hillside with a spell. Damon snuck up behind Greta and snapped her neck before she could react. He then knelt down next to the dopplegänger's body.

"Phasmatos Infero Eseri Gratas, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Victamas Veras. Phasmatos Tribum, Niha Sue Exilum, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Levam, Mina Sue Te, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Phasmatos Veras. Fes Matos Tribum, Mas Pro Tes Unum. Victas Ex Melam, Phasmatos Vanem. Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te" Bonnie chanted.

"No! You were dead!" Klaus exclaimed. Raina clenched her jaw, biting her tongue against the screams. The spell continued as the hybrids' bodies began to contort into painful shapes. Raina bit her tongue until it bled but it didn't stop the screams from erupting out of her throat. As they lay amongst the rocks a new figure approached.

"Elijah?" Klaus asked. "Hello" Elijah said before he punched both arms into his siblings' chests, grabbing their hearts. "In the name of our family..." He twisted their hearts. Raina glared at Klaus, a murderous gleam in her eyes. She hated him for dragging her into his bad idea. But that was a problem for another time. Raina felt her fingers elongate into claws. They dug into the ground but she could just as easily drive them up to strike Elijah's heart.

"I didn't bury them at sea!" Klaus admitted. "And I sure as hell didn't bloody help him to escape!" Raina added. "What?" Elijah asked. "Their bodies are safe. If you kill us, you'll never find them" The older hybrid said. "Elijah! Don't listen to him" Stefan called. "Elijah. I can take you to them. I give you my word... brother" Klaus said, seemingly sincere. "And if you don't trust his word Elijah, I give you mine as well. We'll take you back to the others" Raina promised.

Elijah hesitated. "Do it and I'll take all three of you out" Bonnie said, recognizing that he was having second thoughts. "You'll die" The original vampire stated. "I don't care" The Bennett witch said. Raina bit back a comment about stupidly noble Bennett witches. Elijah looked at his siblings and then back at Bonnie and Stefan "I'm sorry" Then, before either of them could react, he grabbed his siblings and sped away.
