A SLEEK BLACK LIMO HALTED. "Welcome back to Chicago, Stefan" Klaus said as he exited the car, followed by his sister. "What are we doing here?" Stefan asked. Klaus opened a door that led out into the street "I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?" He asked. "Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur" The ripper stated.

"Well, that is a crying shame. The details are what make it legend. Word was the ripper of Monterrey got lonely, so he escaped to the city for comfort. It was Prohibition. Everything was off limits then, which made everything so much fun" Klaus said. "Chicago was magical"

"Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it" Stefan replied, pushing off the door he was leaning on. "Yes, I wonder why" Raina drew out and stressed every word while glaring pointedly at her brother. "Getting straight down to business then?" Klaus asked, closing the door "Why am I still with you? We had our fun, Raina's a ripper, your hybrids failed. I mean, don't you want to move on?" Stefan asked.

"We're going to see my favorite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her" Klaus ignored Stefan's question as he re-entered the limo. "Besides, somebody needs to suffer alongside me" Raina added, patting Stefan on the shoulder before pushing past him and entering the car.

[Flashback, 1920]

[Gloria's bar]

Gloria sang as couples danced on the floor. Raina danced with Rebekah, the sisters scanned the crowd for their next meal. Obnoxious laughter drew their attention. Raina rolled her eyes "Men" she muttered exasperatedly. Rebekah, looking just as irritated as her sister felt, made her way over to the group. "Sorry to crash the fun boys but some of us actually came here to hear the music, not you" She said. A man with brown hair and eyes replied. "I'm so sorry sweetheart, are we offending you?" He asked mockingly. Shame somebody so handsome was so irritating. His friends laughed.

Raina narrowed her eyes, moving to stand next to her sister. She had a good mind to rip his tongue out for daring to speak to her little sister in such a way. Rebekah turned back, placing a hand on Raina's shoulder, sensing her sister's anger. Then she turned back to the group of men with a smile. She moved forward "It'd take a lot more than a baby face like this to offend me" she trailed her finger across his jawline before she started to walk away. The man moved forward to grab Rebekah's arm. Raina glowered at him but he ignored her.

"Hey, are you ever going to tell me your name?" He asked. "Sure. When you earn it" Rebekah replied, her eyes trained on his lips. "And shove a bloody sock in it" Raina said before, dragging Rebekah away. She was surprised at how easy her sister found it to flirt with other men just a year after Marcel's death. However that was always a big divider between them. Raina fell rarely and grieved for centuries, Rebekah fell for every man who gave her a passing glance and when Klaus inevitably killed them she grieved for at the very least a week.
