Tough Love

christmas!

Tomioka pov:

I woke up to genya shaking me awake. He did it gently but rough enough to wake me up.
I sat up straight.

'Yeah..? Do you need something?' I asked, flopping back onto my back. 'It's Christmas! Get up! We need to open presents!' he said in a childish tone.

I could see muichiro, douma, mitsuri, and iguro all awake- akaza was also already awake. 'God- at least wake the others up then,' I mumbled, rubbing my eyes and gently shaking sanemi.

'Hm?' He hummed and pulled me closer to him. 'Get up, your brother wants to open gifts,' I stated and sat up, finally standing up.

'Ugh- he acts like somebody who is 7 when it comes to the gifts'sanemi said and held him hand out for me to take and pull him up.

I grabbed his hand and pulled up so he was standing next to me. He held onto my waist while genya and douma excitedly woke everybody up.

'God, it's like seven in the morning,' daki said, standing up and helping her brother sit up.

'We need to open gifts!' Mitsuri exclaimed and ran over to iguro. 'You should open my gift first!' She said, holding iguros' hands.

He nodded sleepily and went to grab his present that was from mitsuri.

He opened it as the others also got their gifts. 'You should open mine second,' I said and smiled a bit.

'Yes, oh my God, it's so cute!' He said and held the big shark stuffed animal. It was a life-sized animal as well.

'Mine next!' I said and handed him a medium-sized box.

'You even thought about kaburamaeu!' Iguro said and hugged the big suit, small suit, big tie, small tie, and the little top hat.

'I knew you would like it, so would kaburamaru,' I said and was handed a gift by mitsuri.

'Do I open it?' I asked, and she nodded excitedly. I unwrapped the pretty pink Christmas wrapping paper to reveal a really sparkly hair pin so I could keep the hair out of my face while I did stuff.

'Aw, thank you! It's so cute!' I said and hugged her. I was digging through the gifts so I could give genya his gift.

'Here, open it,' I said and handed him this really thin and long box. He opened it to reveal a katana with green edges and a green handguard.

'It's so cool! Thanks, tomioka!' Genya said and hugged me.

There were going to be a lot of hugs.

But you can't ever have too many hugs, especially from friends and family.

I was handed a gift from akaza. It was a pretty big box.

'Open it,' he said, and I unwrapped his dark blue wrapping paper.
It revealed
four South Park characters, Stanley, Kyle, cartman, and Kenny. 'How'd you know I watched South Park?' I asked, confused but really happy as I took the out of the box and snuggled them.

'I got connections- aka muichiro,' akaza said with a smile. 'Here, open my gift - though it isn't really anything special,' I said and handed him a medium-sized box.

He unwrapped it, revealing a bedazzled basketball that was sitting on a stand and in black writing is had "akaza," I was so smart.

'How'd you know I like basketball?' He asked and carefully stood the ball on the coffee table. 'I have connections- aka douma,' I said and was handed another gift.

It was from daki and gyutaro.

'You'll like it, we promise!' Daki said, grabbing my shoulders and shaking me a bit.
I opened the pretty green and white wrapping paper.
