Chapter twenty three

"Start a revolution."

Standing there Cate was reading everyone's thoughts "fuck. Why didn't I fucking help her? I should've used my powers instead of trying to just pull Maddie away from her." Marie was thinking "holy shit, Maddie's the daughter of Solider Boy and sister of Homelander! Plus she just fucking killed Dean Shetty cause Cate told her too!" Emma thought "she tortured us! She tortured us!" Sam was thinking "she's fucking crazy. When I  get the chance I'm gonna fuck her up for what she did to Maddie. No, no. We need to help Maddie, make her remember." Jordan was thinking.

But then she heard Maddie's as voice in her head was screaming, you are the most emotional person I've ever met and I'm you and it's kind of pathetic but all it took was her fucking with our head again for you to finally be your father's daughter, you clearly aren't as strong as you thought, in which Cate then closed her eyes.

"Okay, look, let's all just calm down a..and asses the situation." Jordan shared as they stepped away from Maddie "the situation's bleeding all over the fucking rug. And that our best friend now a fucking shell of a human being thanks to Cate!" Emma voiced as she stood up "we just..we have to figure out what do now." Jordan shared, knowing if Maddie was here she'd come up with a plan, as Marie looked to Cate "you murdered her." she told her "no, no, Maddie did." Cate told her "you made her!" Marie voiced "I did this for you. I did this for her. I did this for all of you. When I'm done, maybe eventually you'll realize I'm being a hero." Cate shared, turning to Maddie.

"Maddie, let's go!" she voiced, and as she did, Maddie dropped the knife and turned to leave, but as she did, Jordan stepped in front of her "I'm not letting you leave with her." they told her, as Maddie glared at him "and how the hell are you gonna stop me?" she asked, and when she did, Sam walked over to her, standing behind her "us." he said, and when he did, Emma stepped forward "Sam, don't." she told him, as Sam turned to her "Shetty sucked. I'm not an experiment and neither is Maddie." he shared, as Marie furrowed her brows "what are you gonna do, Cate?" she asked, as Cate walked toward's Maddie, she stepped behind her, putting her hands on her shoulders "we're gonna free the woods." she said.

"Sam, don't go with them." Emma told him "this is about you, too. If they find out what happened here, I and Maddie aren't gonna be the one's they torture. Maybe it's time for me to save you and clearly someone needs to save Maddie." Sam shared with her, as Maddie went to stop forward, Jordan turned into their female form, glaring at Cate "you can beat me. But do you really think you can beat him? Because I no for sure damn sure you wouldn't hurt Maddie." Cate shared and as she did, Jordan looked to Sam and then down to Maddie, and they knew fighting wouldn't bring her back as they stepped out of the way, Maddie began walking out with Cate and Sam following her and as she did, Maddie pulled her keys out of her pocket and dropped them to the floor, leaving them for the others, subconsciously.

Making it to the woods, Maddie, Cate and Sam all headed down an elevator, where it soon reached the bottom, Sam was hiding where he couldn't be seen as they came upon a guard "Cate?" he asked, looking to Maddie "you..you know your not allowed to have visitors down here..." the man was saying as Maddie ran at him and grabbed him by the arm throwing him into the security screens behind him and as she did, Sam then stepped out behind her, walking over to him, as the guard groaned he turned around only to see him "oh, god. No, no!" the man yelled as Sam punched him in the face, killing him as he pulled his fist out and the man's body went limp on the floor.

Turning the three walked to the next door as Cate unlocked it, she turned to the guard, putting her hand on their shoulder "unlock the cells." she told him "okay." the man said, as he turned pushing the button, an alarm began blaring as all the doors opened, Maddie, Cate and Sam then walked down the hallway with the guard following them as they stopped at a cell "ew." Maddie said, as Sam and Cate looked to her, the guy looked at her with furrowed brows "ew?" he asked "sorry, it's just the stench and the look of you is burning my eyes." Maddie shared.

"I think what my friend here means to say is let's go outside." Cate told him, as the guard, Sam, Maddie and Cate turned around, the guy followed them, as they then walked down the hall and as they did, all the others just began flocking to them following them down the hallway as Maddie lead the way, Cate was right beside her as Sam was in the back.

But then they all stopped at one of them who were dead, as Maddie furrowed her brows "what the hell?" she asked "that was Andy. He was hilarious. And then really sad. He was bipolar." Sam shared "so they gave him the virus first." Maddie shared, as she scoffed "untucking believable. Humans hate us and this is how they treat us." she added on, turning to them "look, I know none of you probably don't fucking know me! Half of you probably don't even give a shit what I have to say cause newsflash? I don't either. But this school thinks that they can get away with torturing supes just because we're not normal like the rest of the fucking world? Fuck that!" she voiced.

And when she did, all of them nodded "yeah!" they voiced, as Maddie turned walking off, the supes began to follow her along with Sam as Cate stopped by the guard and said "eat your own hands you fucking monster." as she then followed after the rest of them.
