Chapter twenty four

"Your so much more." 

Having heading out into the courtyard, Maddie stood around watching the chaos take over as the locked up supes were heading around taking out any teachers who chose to torture them rather then teach, as she crossed her arms smirking, as more people began to die and other's screamed running away, but as chaos was ensuing an alarm began blaring and as it did every supe including Maddie began hearing it and covering their ears, although when Maddie did, she fell to her knees seeing flashes of what she had done to Dean Shetty as her humanity began to try and break through.

"Maddie. Maddie, please! I need you to snap out of this, alight? It's me..it's me. It's Jordan!" she heard Jordan's voice in her head, as she grimaced, she then saw her mother lying on the ground as her hands were covering with her mother's blood as she was trying to stop the bleeding "a legacy of death and war." she heard the red countess say, as she folded in on herself, she then heard another voice, one she hadn't heard in a long time "your so much more then that because I and your father are more then that." her mother said.

And when she did, Maddie then felt like she wanted to scream and instead of holding it back, she let it out as she took her hands off her ears and looked up at the sky and screamed, causing her sonic scream to go all over the place, knocking down anyone in ten feet of her, knocking out the speakers and causing everyone's ears to rupture and shatter the glass windows of all the buildings.

Falling down to the floor, she was on her hands and knees, breathing heavy and as she did, she looked at the chaos all around her and realized that she had help Cate do this, but before she could succumb to what she had done and blame herself for everything and do what Luke did and end it all right now, her phone started buzzing, as she pulled it out of her pocket and answered it without looking at the caller ID "hello?" she asked "Madison Almes. It's me Ashley. From Vought, that's if you were giving your memories back." Ashley shared, and as she did, Maddie huffed "yeah, I'm all here." she told her, and if she asked that a few minutes ago, she would've been lying if she said that but after the whistle she was damn sure she was herself again.

"Good, because we are considering you for the seven. Congratulations. We're so excited. We just need you to uh, do what you did back at seven tower and uh, help take out some, uh, escaped, um, students. Cancel them. Cancel them from planet earth like your father and brother taught you." Ashley told her and when she did, Maddie nodded "yeah, I got it." she told her, bringing the phone down and hanging up, where having been given the green light from Vought themselves, her entire hatred towards herself turned to Cate and the others after having been once again used as she pushed herself up off the ground and began running off

And when she did, she spotted Cate "Cate!" she voiced and as she did, Cate turned to her with a smile although when she saw Maddie running full speed at her, her eyes went wide "no, no, no!" she voiced, putting her hand on the guys shoulder in front of her, telling him to go after the helicopter that was flying in but as he flew off, Maddie jumped in the air, punching him in the face sending him to the ground hard as she then land right in front of him, blood was on her now after having smashing the boy into the concrete, she turned around looking at Cate "you fucked with my head!" she voiced, stalking toward's her.

As Cate began to back away, actually afraid of her "Madison, Maddie, Mads! Look, we're helping people!" she voiced "no, no! You are using people! You used me to kill Shetty and now I'm gonna kill you!" Maddie voiced, and as she did, she kicked her foot out, sending Cate flying back as she landed on the ground hard, Maddie continued going toward's her "I had a life. I had parents who cared about me and you decided in you own fucked up mind to take that away from me? Not even questioning what they were having you do to me?" she asked, chuckling "and don't even get me started on Luke!" she voiced, bringing her fist down to punch her, but Cate rolled out of the way as Maddie's fist went into the cement instead, making an imprint.
