"Ah fuck," he sighed. Rindou paced his spot at the bottom of the stairs muttering to himself. He trudged back and forth, back and forth until he left a groove in the grass below him. He had ruined his shoes. Mud and blades of grass clotted the sides of the suede. The tips of his shoes got the worst of it. The stain would never come out. He hadn't seemed to notice. He leaned into his hip, staring into the sky as if to tear his mind away from the impending dread consuming him. His lips parted like he wanted to say something but Ran spoke first.

"You nervous?" He asked. Ran stood at the top of the stairs stamping out his third cigarette on the cold guard rail.

"I don't know. What if I'm right?"

When he looked at Ran his hair fell about his eyes. The colors in them shifted like the night sky after a thunderstorm.

"What if she actually hates me?"

A bouquet of flowers dangled from his listless fingers. Yellow roses, orange lilies, and sunflowers lay across his thigh. The wrapping crinkled over the sound of Ran's footsteps echoing down the stairs. Rindou crossed his arm over his body and leaned against the natural brick wall surrounding the flower bed behind him.

Ran stops in front of him and chuckles. "Aww, what? Do you need a hug?"

"Get the fuck off of me!"

"Relax, whether she does or doesn't, it'll be ok. Whatever is supposed to happen, will happen. No sense in getting your panties in a bunch, about something you can't control."

"Yeah yeah. I don't want to hear that philosophical shit right now."

"Mmhm. Did you get that necklace fixed?" He lit a new cigarette and took a drag.

"How many cigarettes is that?" Rindou looked at his brother, then down at the outline of the box in his pocket.

"You deal with your stress your way and I'll deal with mine. Necklace?"

"Yeah, I fixed it. But what if she decides she doesn't want it anymore?"

"I highly doubt she's gonna say that Rin, you're overthinking."

"How far did the driver say he was?"

"Hmm... I think he said he's like five minutes away. Let's head to the top so we can see them before they get out.

"Alright."

They got to the top with seconds to spare. Rindou peered over the walls to see the girls pull up.

"Ran they're here." He gripped his hand tight around the bouquet and held it to his chest. Ran smiled and pushed himself off the wall. He threw his cigarette to the ground, stepping on it before walking towards his brother.

The door to the back seat of the limo opens up. "Ladies, we have finally reached our destination." The driver reached his hand out to Nai to help her out. Lani came out right after her and the driver closed the door.

"Thank you, sir."

"Well, I guess it's showtime then." He chuckles, looking in the girl's direction. He couldn't tear his eyes away from Lani as she tipped her head stepping out of the limo. She placed her clutch under her arm as she walked up the stairs with Nai. The longer he stared at her the louder he could hear the thumping in his chest. Ah, fuck it's already starting.

They both looked at how beautiful the restaurant was on top of the hill. On the rails leading up to the restaurant, there were pretty fairy lights. It looked like the Bachelor Mansion on steroids. There were flowers all around the lawn, mixed in with a bunch of different glowing garden mushrooms. The sight was breathtaking.
