"Page Dr. Han, quickly!" Nai shouted, her voice urgent as she helped a few nurses push Kisaki in on a gurney. The wheels squealed against the floor as they rushed him through the halls.
"He's ready for us in OR 3!" a nurse called out, running up alongside Benkei, who was directing the team carrying Hanma toward the nearest operating room.
"Watch out watch out, move!"
Kakucho was down in the infirmary for some paperwork when he heard the commotion nearby. His head shot up at the flurry of activity, spotting Nai rushing past with a team of nurses. Alarm bells went off in his mind as he quickly made his way over, grabbing her arm to stop her.
"Nai."
She cursed under her breath, her heart pounding. Shit, why is he here?
"Nai, what the hell is going on?" he demanded, his eyes scanning the chaotic scene.
"Uh....nothing," she smiles trying to turn away but Kaku grabs her again. His grip wasn't forceful, but firm enough to demand an answer.
"Don't lie to me."
"Fuck. Okay, we were attacked by Baji and Chifuyu," she blurted out, already half-distracted as nurses dressed her in protective gear. "Kisaki and Hanma are pretty messed up. But we—-"
"What?" Kakucho's eyes widened in shock, processing her words. "Both of them?" he asked, his tone hardening as he looked around, searching for the rest of the team. His expression darkened when he noticed Lani wasn't with them.
"Where's Lani?" he asked, his voice suddenly colder.
Trying to dodge the question, Nai stepped toward the operating room, but Kakucho yanked her back by the arm. "Where is she?" he repeated, his voice sharp with anger.
"She stayed behind," Nai finally admitted. "We couldn't afford to fail the mission again, so she volunteered."
"You fucking left her? Why didn't you call one of us?!" His frustration boiled over as he pulled out his phone, already dialing.
"Kaku, wait!" Nai grabbed his wrist, "Please, don't tell anyone! We've got this under control, I swear!"
His thumb hovered over the screen, his anger barely contained. "This isn't how we operate, Nai. We don't leave each other behind! Ever!"
"I know!" she snapped, her voice breaking. "But Hanma and Kisaki-they're also part of my team. I had to make a call. Lani can handle herself. Please, Kaku, don't make this worse. Just trust us."
He paused, torn between rage and the sense of duty to Lani. Finally, he lowered his phone. "I'm going to get her," he said, his voice low. "Alone. Don't ever pull this shit again, I'm so serious."
"I won't Kaku. I'm sorry," she muttered before turning to head into the OR.
As Kakucho started to leave, he bumped into Benkei in the hallway. "If anything happens to her, I'm going to kill you," he growled before sprinting toward the exit.

Chifuyu had disappeared into his office as Lani made her way to the back. She crosses the threshold peering at the space where the fridge once was. Tiptoeing through the back room, she carefully avoids the fish still flopping back and forth on the floor.
Water was everywhere, soaking the floor in a way that made her second-guess whether a few mops could ever be enough. The task was starting to look like far more work than she'd expected. As she struggled with looking for where to start, she stopped in her tracks, eyes widening as she caught sight of Baji.
