Waking up in a dim office, hands tied to the back of my chair was not the best outcome after finding out I had fortune in my bank.
What the hell did I get up to yesterday?
Despite the situation I found myself in, I wasn't as paranoid as I thought I should be. My heart rate was only slightly elevated, and I wasn't even as nervous as I really should've been.
I looked around the office, it was pretty big, and modern, and not to forget, very dark. I was sat before a desk, hands tied by ropes, and to the chair too.
Footsteps were heard behind me, now the nerves settled in. The door closed, and the footsteps echoed closer, and closer.
I had a very unsettled feeling deep in my stomach, I just hoped I wouldn't throw up right here, that'd be so embarrassing.
The figure was behind me, and I refused to look behind me. I could see the shadow looming over me, and I could smell the heavy cologne coming from him.
He walked to the side, sitting on the desk. I looked up at who it was, and to my own surprise, it was actually the guy I do now, recall from yesterday.
I furrowed my eyebrows, what kind of weird ass kinky deal did I have with him?
"Did you just forget everything you did yesterday?" His deep voice took me aback slightly, however, it did make me recall everything that happened yesterday.
As I just went deeper into last night, my eyes widened, what a fucking idiot. I wanted to facepalm myself, but my hands were tied.
God, why am I actually so embarrassing.
Niki gave a chuckle, crossing his arms as he leant on his desk, staring at me with a devilish smile.
"The money is in your account, no?" He smirked, he was so fine.
"You just have money to waste like that?" I snapped back, and he gave a light chuckle at my attitude.
"I was expecting an answer more along the lines of, yes or no. But I suppose that'll do." Niki looked down at me with a wicked smile, "Park Baekhyeon's daughter, hm."
I rolled my eyes, not this motherfucker bringing up my father.
"Who even are you?" I glared at him as he stared back at me, intrigued in my eyes.
"Ah, even if I explained, you wouldn't understand. You're not part of Park's Clan no more?" He walked around his office, hands behind his back.
"I refuse to be." I told him, trying to set my hands free.
"Mmm, and you remember our deal?" He asked me, I just hoped he wouldn't of mentioned it. I gave a small sigh, closing my eyes. Why was I such an idiot to accept a deal like that from a guy who drank 25-year-old Whiskey?!
I didn't reply to his words, he made his way back towards where I was sat. He crouched before me, looking up at me with a teasing grin.
"I need you to marry me." His eyes sharp yet serious.
"I'm not going to. Take your money back." I refused, and he scoffed, leaning back onto his desk with a smug smile.
"You have no choice, a deal is a deal." He looked around the dim office for a second, "Honey." He added, and I rolled my eyes.
"Untie my goddamn wrists." I changed the topic, trying to squeeze my wrists out of the tight knot. He stared at me, amused at my frustration.
"Not until you tell me you'll marry me." He jeered, he was so enjoying this, and I was not.
"Marry someone else, you have the money to. Go and waste your money on someone else." I groaned, not budging at all.
"You really should've stayed with Park, it'd be really amusing to send him a picture of you like this." Niki smiled, pulling out his phone and scrolling on it.
I tried to think hard, thinking back to my past when I was only surrounded by mafia culture. I tried to think of my father's allies, parties, connections, all of the above. But nothing, I was trying so hard to figure his stupid words out.
"Oh come on, think a little harder." He crossed his arms, teasing me so hard right now, the stupid smile on his face really added to how much I wanted to smack the shit out of this guy.
"Niki, you are so unfunny. Regardless if I tell you that I'll marry you, I won't." I insisted coldly, and he didn't say a word, just stared at me with some kind of look in his eyes that I couldn't decode.
"Is that so?" He stood up straight, grabbing his phone and doing something on it. It suddenly rung, rung until someone picked up.
"Hello? Who is this?" Heejin's voice came from the other end, and my heart dropped at hearing her voice.
"Ha Heejin, correct?" Niki's dark voice replied.
"Uh. Yeah? Who is this?" Heejin's lighter, happier voice replied, and it'd kill me to hear that voice turn miserable.
Niki ended the call, placing his phone flat on the desk. He stared at me, crossing one leg over the other.
He messed with the neck of his hoodie, pulling it down loosely, revealing the MURA tattoo.
