I was unable to say any words. I had felt this way for ages, thinking he'd not reciprocate. But instead, he relayed the same feeling back.

He looked at me for an answer, hoping it was one he'd like.

"What..? Niki, I'm.." I looked around, not knowing what to say. It felt weird to confess to someone who I'm going to marry anyways.

"I just need you to tell me if you feel the same." Niki sighed, thinking that I'd totally reject his ass.

"Yeah... whatever... I guess." I crossed my arms, looking around, very flustered with giving him my answer. I cracked a smile, trying to hide it.

Niki gave a grin, planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I knew I was irresistible." He scoffed, never had I seen him so smiley before.

"Yeah, be careful before I take my words back." I rolled my eyes playfully as he chuckled, staring at my face intently.

"Take your words back and I'll kill you." Niki warned jokingly, I scoffed, as if he'd even dare.

"Aren't you busy entertaining your friends? Why'd you leave them like that?" I mentioned and he looked around, very guilty.

"I put my fiance first." He proudly smiled, now you could say it felt real.

"Go home, who knew you had attachment issues." I chuckled, brushing my hand against his jumper. He pulled me into a hug, whispering in my ear.

"Stay safe. Remember what I told you still." He reiterated his words and I nodded, the warmth in my heart fulfilling.

Niki left, and I head back to the table inside. The four of them just gaped at me, sharp eyes glaring my way as I sat down.

"You need to invite us to the wedding. There is no way I will not attend." Jiyeon folded her arms, staring at me with a demanding glare.

I gave a nervous chuckle, unsure if I should just tell them at this point.

"That man is the definition of beautiful. How? And where?!" Heejin stared at me, a wide grin on her face.

I shrugged.

"We just met." I wasn't sure what to really tell them. That this man was actually the leader of a powerful mafia clan? And that he originally arranged a marriage with me because of a deal and now we truly love each other?

It's a phenomenal story.

The four of them let out another disappointed groan.

"God, you don't tell us anything." Aeyoung sighed, "You got any kids with him? May as well as that since we didn't know you were getting married."

I pressed my lips together, holding in a laugh.

"Oh god, she does. Look at that face." Miyeon covered her mouth in shock. I crossed my brows, quickly shaking my head and hands.

"Woah, woah no way. No!" I told them, and they gave a sigh of relief.

"We better be the first people to know when you decide to." Heejin scoffed, "Unbelievable Yuri. I just can't even process it."

"Surprise?" I gave a light smile, contrasting against their stoic faces.

TWO DAYS LATER

Niki had left for a mission a day ago, and at first, I was a little nervous knowing that he was gone for so long. I didn't realise missions could last for even a week.

When he came back, a swoon of relief hit me and just seeing him brightened my day.

"Heeeyy baby. What's up?" He pulled me into a hug, giving a large exhale. His body leant on me heavily, and I could just sense that he was tired.

It was like, two in the morning.

"How'd it go?" I asked him, and he was unresponsive at first.

"You already know the answer to that sweetheart." Niki chuckled, leaning off me and stretching his arms loudly.

I followed him behind as he walked up towards his room. I peered into his room from the door frame as he threw himself onto his own bed.

He sat up not so long after.

"What are you doing? Come here." He gave a raspy chuckle, and I made my way over towards him, laying beside him as he wrapped his arms around me.

"When do you think Baekhyeon will strike?" I asked him the question that had been bothering me for a bit now.

"Mmm. Definitely soon. I feel that the first person he'll try and target is you." Niki groaned heavily, he was tiredly slurring his words.

"Yeah. I figured. You know Heejin and the others asked if they were invited to our wedding." I decided to mention it to him, wondering what he would think about it.

He gave a small laugh with a hint of fatigue.

"That'd be funny, imagine a clan member approaching them and asking them what group they belong to." Niki let out a satisfied sigh, playing with my hair gently.

"I'm guessing that's a no then." I chuckled at his reply, but still, nonetheless wanted to know if was even an option.

"We'll see." Was all he said before he literally shut down and fell asleep.
