"Hey." Niki gave such a cheery grin, approaching me and pressing a light kiss on my forehead, the rest of them just stayed silent, observing this beautiful, beautiful man, now walking beside me.
"Niki, that's your name right?" Miyeon stared at Niki as he nodded gently, "How many wives do you want? Because I can cook and clean if you're looking for another."
I placed my hand over my face in embarrassment, a small laugh leaving my lips as Niki looked at Miyeon in shock.
"Well." Niki noticed that I was laughing at this, "I wouldn't mind four more." He suddenly spoke, my smile dropped faster than anything.
I stared at Niki coldly, unamused by his little friendly comment, he looked down at me, a small smirk reaching his lips.
Joyeon raised her brows, pressing her lips together, very intrigued by what Niki just said.
"Where's the application, where?!?!" Joyeon jokingly begged as I just crossed my arms, giving an occasional rolling of the eyes as Niki simply stared at me, so adoringly and so teasingly at the same time.
"Uh oh, looks like I've upset someone." Niki leered, that smug smirk printed all over him.
"You are walking home." I opened the door of his car, about to sit in until he grabbed my hair and pulled me lightly back.
"Do you want to fight!?" I rubbed the back of my head, furrowing my brows lightly.
"If the boxing ring is our bed, yes." Niki answered, he was so showing off his charisma right now.
The girls let out a few chuckles and laugh, but quickly scurried to pressing their lips as they looked at my cold glare directed straight at Niki.
The corner of my lips couldn't help but curve into a smile as I looked at Niki's great, big grin, so pleased with himself over the stuff he was saying.
"Ah, whatever." I rolled my eyes, the atmosphere remaining playful.
"Niki, what do you do for a living? We asked Yuri, but she was talking about investing or some shit like that." Aeyoung inquired, my heart beat fast at that question.
Niki's eyes shot directly at me, his gaze spoke utter volumes.
'What the fuck do you even mean investing?! Who do I look like to you?!'
I gave him a mediocrely squeamish gaze back, as if I knew I fucked up but I was under pressure so basically it's not really my fault.
'I was under pressure it wasn't my fault I just said what came to mind!!!!'
Niki gave a sigh, blinking hard before clearing his throat and diverting his attention to my friends.
"Aha.. Investing.. yes..." Niki made this situation even worse for me with his uncertain tone. I glared at him, curling my lip very quickly for him to sort this situation out.
He stared at me coldly, definitely hating me right now.
"I own a business, and I suppose it does require investing, but mostly I just deal with... business." Niki attempted to save his words as my friends looked up at him as if he was some kind of higher being.
Man, whatever this man would say they'd probably listen to and agree with.
"Oooooh, alright." Miyeon had sparkles in her eyes, the four of them had their mouthes slightly agape, just staring at this expensive looking man.
"Business, huh?" Joyeon had a smile, giggling to herself in a daze as Niki looked at me for a fraction of a second, he furrowed his brows in confusion at me, then looked back at the girls.
I rubbed my forehead, get me out of here right now.
I cleared my throat, taking Niki's hint and finally deciding to organise everything going on.
"Alright, we have to go, you know.. wedding things.." I don't know why my words were being like this, but for some reason I just couldn't even speak properly.
"Yeah.. wedding things." Niki repeated, fixing his hair awkwardly for a second as they snapped back to reality.
They all looked at me, the sparkles all gone now. Wow. I see how it is.
"Oh. Okay." Heejin shrugged, then looked back at Niki, "Bye Niki." She grinned.
"Have fun, bye Niki." Joyeon waved her fingers as she walked with Heejin, and just like the two, Aeyoung and Miyeon did the exact same thing - explicitly only saying bye to Niki and not me.
As they all walked away into the distance, Niki grinned with the slyest face I've ever seen him to have.
"I think all your friends have a little crush on me." He jeered as if I found this funny.
"Hey, our wedding is tomorrow. Don't even think about it, and also, Heejin is engaged. So no." I glared at him as he chuckled, opening the car door for me instead. He leant on the frame of the door as I sat in.
"I told you, I only want you." He chuckled, heading to the other side.
