RIKI NISHIMURA POV
(omg a niki pov??? woah whats going on author????)
-
I was waiting just for Yuri to come out, the time seemed like it was taking forever. Every minute I checked the time on my phone, impatiently groaning. I didn't want time to pass just so I could get married to Yuri and become a symbol of power, nor did I want time to pass quickly just so I could get this over and done with.
I wanted time to pass quickly so I could see Yuri. So that I could marry this woman.
Even despite the short notice, I knew from the club, she would definitely be the one. And her being an ex-Park mafia member was just a mere coincidence, I suppose it just meant we were destined to be together.
Finally, as time neared to the set time everything was supposed to start, the anticipating feeling in my heart began to beat faster, heavier and more eager by the second.
Just let me see Yuri for fucks sake.
Sunghoon stared at me, a smirk from his lips as he leant on the wall.
"Frustrating huh? You just wanna see your woman." He gave a grin, reading off my face with ease.
"You know it." I didn't deny, I wanted Yuri to be the one, and I knew she was the one, otherwise I wouldn't of picked her initially.
I didn't expect to even fall in love with her, I thought this would be a harmless marriage contract, neither of us realised that our relationship would prosper into something real.
Five minutes left. The excitement was unbearable. Despite the stone cold walls I put up with anyone, Yuri was the only exception. I didn't care about anybody here, they could all die for all my knowledge, I just wanted Yuri. Only Yuri.
She was the only girl I had ever seen.
Minutes passed, and three minutes left.
Within those three minutes, Joyeon burst into my room. Both Sunghoon and I furrowing our brows, glancing at why the fuck she was in here, and why she was in such a hurry.
"Niki. Niki." She repeated my name in a hurry, her breathing quick, "Yuri is gone. Yuri isn't anywhere to be seen!!!!!!"
My gaze hardened, the feeling of unease settled in my stomach, and I swallowed hard, Sunghoon looking at me carefully so that I don't make any rash decisions.
I stood up, clenching my jaw in anger. What the fuck is going on?
"She's not anywhere at all? Bathroom? Walking around?" I asked her, my heart suddenly beating fast out of worry.
"She was in the bride's room twenty minutes ago, I came back in, and she's gone, the room is a mess. Niki, please. Help." Joyeon pleaded me, her eyes turning glossy and her voice desperate, "Miyeon, Heejin and Aeyoung are all gone too."
"Fuck." I pushed her lightly out of the frame of the door, storming towards the room Yuri was supposed to be in.
I scanned the room as Sunghoon dialed for the rest of my guys. Makeup was scattered on the floor, clothes all over the place. There was definitely some resistance that was happening here.
The worst feeling situated itself in my body, it wasn't just my stomach, it was all over. My fists clenched, all I saw was pure fury. I swear to fucking god.
Joyeon was quietly weeping behind me as I called for my strongest men to come to the venue in case of emergency. And just as I hung up, screaming was heard.
I rushed out, running towards my room, grabbing a gun in the drawer and dragging Joyeon into the room.
"Stay the fuck in here. Don't you goddamn leave unless you want to die." I clocked the gun right in front of her, and her breath hitched, staring at me with paranoid eyes.
She was fearing for her life. I know Joyeon, it's not ideal, and I know you wouldn't expect this.
I closed the door, locking it and telling Sunghoon to guard it meantime.
Immediately, there were men in black, infiltrating the main venue, shooting everywhere as everybody scattered. Thankfully, due to this being a mafia wedding, some people came equipped, fighting back, many people ran out and hid, thankfully people had brains here.
I shot at the few men in the venue, it seemed to be it for now. If there were any more in any other place in the venue, I reckoned that my men would've sorted them out by now - they seemed to be doing a horrible job.
I approached one on the floor, crouching down. I grabbed the guy by the collar of his shirt, ripping the balaclava off his face and staring at his sweating, agony-stricken face.
He looked at me, gritting his teeth as I gave a chuckle.
"Spare me. Spare me and I'll leave you alone." He made a pathetic attempt to save himself. I simply pulled down the collar of his shirt, to about his collarbone.
And there, lay a single tattoo. Printed.
