Blooming bouquets, golden trim all over the venues, such intricate and antique dressings all over the soaring ceilings.
This venue was unlike anything else. It was so much better than the last one, and I thought it couldn't possibly get any better.
It was huge, it was grand, and it was a symbol of wealth and power. Truely, there was not another wedding like this one.
Finally, I had my day. A good few months later though.
I was ready, everything was perfect, even better than the last attempt at the wedding. Instead of a contract wedding though, this was a real one. It was real feelings, real engagement and real marriage.
Joyeon sat with me in the room, waiting for the time to pass. She just stared at me, no shame, tearing up and trying to calm herself down.
"You are so pretty." She wiped her eyes, "We should run away and get married instead." She hiccuped, looking at me as I stared at her, letting out a small laugh.
"Niki will find you so easily and turn you into room decor." I chuckled, she rolled her eyes at his name.
"Ah, Niki, whatever. That guy should be on his knees at the sight of you." Joyeon folded her arms, still staring at me with adoration and disbelief.
I was in the prettiest wedding gown ever, It was long and grand, it was a mixture between elegance and beauty. It was more than I ever wanted.
Even the veil alone was pretty, the sole material and detail at the top just was gorgeous, everything in this moment - was so unreal. I stood up, time was getting closer.
The train of my dress was detailed with such designs, even I couldn't believe the dress was really mine when I first tried it on. Niki hadn't seen it yet, this would be the first time he would see me in this dress.
Joyeon stood up too, just admiring me and tearing up once more. She gave a few sniffles, wiping her eyes and trying to avoid smudging any of her makeup.
"Shall we? Mrs Nishimura?" She signalled for me to intertwine my arm with hers, I linked my arm with hers, walking out of the room and heading towards the carpet, leading to the main venue.
We slowly started moving towards the main room, so many people were attending. Seeing the antique and ethereal decor of the venue itself, almost made me cry. As I slowly walked down the aisle, people's gazes stuck onto me, adoring and in awe at how blissful I looked.
Flowers were spread across the aisle, a great flowery arch at the front where Niki was stood. He stared at me, unable to accept that I was real, and that I was going to be his wife.
His face said it all, the eyes full of incredulousness and allure. He was so inlove.
I moved closer and closer, up until Joyeon unlinked my arms with hers, and I stood up, before Niki. He stared at me, a smile on his face like none other as we exchanged glances.
The four of my friends, stood to the side, quietly crying out of happiness, and then Niki's closest friends, stood to the other side too, seemingly tearing up.
The audience was in graceful shock, the entire place was so heavenly, the decoration and venue was simply like it was straight from a fairytale. I could not believe that I won in life like this.
Not only was I going to get married in heaven on earth, but additionally, the man I was marrying was the only one for me.
After the priest finished his speech, he declared the vows. I had said mine, now it was his turn. Niki looked at me, lifting my veil up above my head and staring at my face, a smile stained on his face.
"I promise you Yuri, I will take care of you, whether I have to give you my arm or leg, or heart or anything. I want you to live a life of ease, and If that means that I have to suffer, then so be it. Yuri, you are the only girl I see in my life, the only one I wish to fight with, the one that I want to touch." Niki's voice shook as he spoke, this man was about to tear up, and through his words, I probably was already crying, "I don't know what I did to deserve you, I've been blessed. And really Yuri, I feel privileged that you will share the same surname as me. I wish to be with you, no matter through whatever hardships, and even when we are both in the grave, I hope our coffins are beside each other."
I gave a light chuckle at his words.
His eyes scattered all over my face, pure joy radiating off his face. I was too lucky to meet a man like him too, sometimes I wondered what my life would be like if I had never went clubbing - or sat at the bar - or even made that stupid bet with him.
What if I never had met Niki in the first place? My life would've been awful.
"Do you, Park Yuri, accept Niki Nishimura, to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and death, through hardships and sadness?" The priest looked at me.
"I do." I said, no hesitancy at all, I stared into Niki's sparkling eyes, he just wanted to be with me, I could see it through his eyes.
"And, do you, Niki Nishimura, accept Park Yuri, to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and death, through hardships and sadness, til the end of time?" He asked Niki, and without hesitancy again, Niki responded.
"I do." He spoke.
"I pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss." He ended his speech, and Niki immediately pulled me into a kiss. Zero thought, his lips attached themselves to mine, a passionate and loving kiss shared between us.
Zero lust, zero regret. A pure kiss, beaming with eternal happiness and solely true love.
I pulled away, the orchestra playing as people cheered, clapped, celebrated the wedding of us. Niki gazed into my eyes, so thankful that I was the girl he picked.
"If it was any other girl stood here, I would've killed myself." Niki muttered as he held my hands, chuckling.
"You better have." I laughed lightly, the bridesmaids came hugging me, crying in a frenzy of joyous tears. It was a happy day, very happy.
"Yuri Nishimura. Oh my god." Heejin sobbed, her face all red from the crying.
"I'm a married woman now, and to think that you all doubted me." I chuckled, my eyes tearing up themselves.
