Around three hours passed, and at this point, I was more upset than mad. It was annoying, he said he'd be like an hour or something, but he's gone for over three hours?

I sat up on my bed, a little disappointed. I was hoping he'd come back and feel sorry, then we'd make up and actually eat out.

But since that, no words from him, nothing, not a text or a call, not even a passed on message. I sighed, giving up and heading out of my room, I'll just find something to eat in the kitchen - that is if there is anything, I know the maids had gone shopping around half an hour ago.

I scavenged around his huge kitchen, and out of everything in here, there was nothing that I craved that I could make, no quick snacks or anything.

Oh come on, just because I'm part of a mafia clan does not mean I can't eat something good.

I gave a sigh of defeat, leaving the kitchen and making the very disappointed walk back up the grand stairs. I paused, looking over at Niki's room, still untouched. Seriously, how much could he possibly be spoiling this girl?

I pondered a little, thinking whether there were any close by stores. But, knowing the isolated space Niki's villa is, the drive to at least a decent store would be half an hour. You know what though, I was desperate.

I kept the hoodie and shorts attire, just putting some shoes on and picking what car I wanted to drive. It felt like utmost luxury being able to pick a new car each week.

Just as I was about to leave, I realised I forgot the most important thing, my card. I spun back round, heading into the house. The workers probably looked at me as if I was insane, just heading back and forth every five minutes.

I made my way back upstairs again, heading into my room and grabbing my card. I became distracted by the messages on the groupchat for a while.

After snapping myself out of the distraction, I turned back around, about to head out of my room when a figure stood blocking it, leaning on the door frame.

My jaw slightly dropped, astonished at seeing him actually back and willing to speak to me - or I think he was.

"Uh.." I wasn't sure what to say first.

"Who said you could come into my room?" Niki raised an eyebrow, looking me up and down, then directly into my eyes.

"We're basically married, don't even get me started." I rolled my eyes, trying to leave but he blocked the door frame.

"Oh so now we're married? When did you declare that? Surely not when you were hanging around with salad guy." Niki referred back to Seojun, and I just stared at him, simply unable to say anything to that.

"And Ji-Ho? Didn't know she was your wife too. But you know what- I'm not even gonna get into that, I'm hungry. So move." I squeezed between a gap, walking out and downstairs.

He followed behind quietly, and as I walked downstairs to the main room, a few designer bags were sat on the table. I looked at Niki, wondering what the hell this was all about.

He pressed his lips together timidly, looking away for a second.

"For you.. you know.. kind of, I don't know.. hurt me to see you be treated by that guy.." Niki's words became gradually quieter by the second as he ran his fingers through his hair.

I spun around, looking at him with a smile.

"Seriously? You didn't need to do all of this, I just was glad to see that you got me out there." I chuckled, looking inside of the bags, and in some, were heels, some had clothing, bags, and so on.

He sat on the edge of the sofa, staring into space and evidently thinking of something.

"What's on your mind?" I looked at him, wondering why he was being so distant right now.

"You know how we're technically engaged..?" Niki cleared his throat, he swallowed hard. What? Was he nervous or something?

"Uh, yeah..?"

"I thought it'd feel better if I got you like.." He rubbed his face, unsure of how to word this, "like.. a ring.." He pulled out a box, opening it and displaying one of the most beautiful rings I've ever seen.

It was a white diamond ring, with a huge, dazzling diamond in the shape of a pear - two smaller pear-shaped diamonds aside it, it shone brighter than anything I've seen in my life, and the diamonds were so clear, white and definitely expensive as hell.

I think my body stopped functioning for a second, uncertain of how to even process anything.

I looked at Niki who simply gave me an innocent grin.

"You're joking." I looked at him, then the ring.

"Not at all." He chuckled, "I thought about it earlier, but then forgot about it, and when I saw you with salad guy, I made sure to remember." He shrugged, casually playing it off cool as if this ring wouldn't of costed like hundred thousands.

I took the ring gently, placing it on my ring finger, surprisingly, the size of the ring was accurate. I got lost in the shine, it was so beautiful, so beautiful.

I immediately hugged Niki, wrapping my arms around his neck as he held my waist.
