The day had come, the one that I used to dread, the one that I used to do anything just to get out of. The one that I now longed for and could not wait for.

After hours of styling, preparing, doing, fixing, everything was perfect. The wedding outfit was fully prepared. I had been preparing since the morning, and the wedding is supposed to begin soon enough.

The dress was so boujee, so extravagant and elegant, this would've been everything I wished for when I was a little girl. Now it was coming true, with a guy that matched my standards.

I smiled at one of the girls who helped me with my wedding dress and makeup, she began to tear up, her eyes glossy as she just stared at the full thing.

I hugged her gently, trying to not be too tight just incase I ruin my hair or anything else.

"Thank you." I quietly thanked her as she nodded her head, wiping her eyes out of happiness.

"You look mesmerising." Tears ran down her face. It was a very cute moment, especially when the full crew came in, just adoring and observing how gorgeous I looked.

Though, as they left me to be alone, I just stared at myself in the mirror. Yes, I looked so pretty, so unreal and whatever else, but there was seriously something missing.

I had no parents to visit me, no relatives or siblings. Nobody from my family would be able to see their daughter, sister, auntie, and so on, get married. Throughout all the marriages I've been to, there's always been someone to walk down the bride down the aisle, but for me? There was nobody.

Zero.

The feeling of despair and hopelessness fulfilled my heart, making me feel utterly sunk to the ground and a little down. I suppose it was my big day, I suppose the venue was very expensive and lavish too, and everything else was so beautifully decorated and organised.

But the feeling of a wedding without your family was just, it just felt so pointless. I tried to swallow the bitter feeling, I should've known that something like this would ultimately happen anyways considering my family situation - but it would've been nice to at least get a visit from somebody I know. ((oh dont worry girl u definitely will LOL))

The feeling of pure despair and hopelessness persisted as I just stood in this room alone, waiting for time to pass, and waiting for something to actually happen.

I sat on the sofa, just scrolling on my phone. I don't know, now that I was thinking about it, I felt just, not in the wedding vibe anymore.

Until the door opened. My heart immediately dart up to who was coming in, and to my own surprise, there stood four figures.

Heejin, Joyeon, Aeyoung, Miyeon.

All four of them beautifully dressed in colour coded correlating to the theme of the wedding, dresses. I stood up, eyes widened and a grin wider than the entire venue crossing my face.

"Oh my god! You are unreal, you look so.. so" Heejin engulfed me in a hug, stunned for words on how to describe me.

The rest of them also started to tear up, in disbelief that they got the chance to see me like this. I didn't even know they were coming, I told them that the wedding would be very private and Niki was pretty strict on who was coming.

"My baby. My baby!!!!" Joyeon was sobbing her eyes out, covering her mouth as she stared at the full outfit, "You look so ethereal."

"What are you guys doing here?!" I was resisting the urge to cry too, just giving chuckles out at the sight of them being here for my wedding.

"Niki gave us a secret invite." Miyeon wiggled her brows, giving me a smug smirk as I gave a large smile, that man was just so perfect.

All the heavy feeling in my heart had finally lifted, no longer did I feel so hopeless and stuck in a pit of drowsiness.

"Oh you guys." I gave a group hug, to the best of my ability, as the grand size and delicacy of my dress really limited my movement.

"And you bet I'm walking your sexy ass down the aisle. Would it be disrespectful if I smacked your ass while I was walking you down?" Jiyeon pondered, the sentimental vibe of the room suddenly changing to a playful one.

I laughed, god, how much I loved my friends.

"To be honest, I think you should probably get put in cuffs while walking me down." I suggested, the five of us all giving joyful smiles.

"That's kinky as hell, motherfuckers will think I'm into some shit like that." Joyeon scoffed jokingly as Heejin raised her brows.

"You aren't into that kinda stuff?" Heejin asked the question we all wanted to know.

"Well I am, but everybody here looks so serious, so like. Not today." Joyeon reiterated as I gave a smile, a kinda smile that hurt my cheeks, "Maybe at your wedding Heejin."

Heejin glared at Joyeon.

"Hey, keep those hands separated." Heeijn squinted her eyes at Joyeon, warning her, "anyways, Joyeon will be here in like, twenty minutes to walk you down."

I nodded my head, saying the last goodbyes before my wedding became official.
