Ingredients:-
Tur dal - 250gms.
Water - 500ml.
Cooking oil -1 tbs.
Hing - 1 pinch.
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbs.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbs.
Red chillies - 2.
Chopped garlic - 1 tbs.
Chopped ginger - 1 tbs.
Chopped onion - 1 large.
Curry leaves - 10.
Chopped tomatoes - 1 medium.
Salt - 1 tbs.
Red Chilli powder - 1 tbs.
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
Chopped coriander - 1 tbs.
Water - 100ml.
Method:-
In a pressure cooker, add toor daal & water....
Cook for 2 whistles....
In kadhai, add cooking oil, hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli, chopped garlic, curry leaves & saute....
Add chopped tomato, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped coriander, & boiled tur dal, along with the water, it was boiled in....
Add a bit more water, & mix well, cook for 10 minutes with the kadhai covered....
