Waves Find Their Land

Chapter 2: Training

Midoriya has just finished changing into his workout gear. He was on his way to U.A. to meet up with the other three.

Once he walked out of his room with his bag he heard his mother Inko speak from the kitchen, "Hey Izuku! Were are you going?"

Midoriya stopped at the kitchen, "Oh I am meeting up with some people I met yesterday. They said they wanted to help me train to get better with my quirk since I have no experience using it besides what happened yesterday."

Inko wiped her hands off onto some paper towels, "I still can't believe you somehow got a quirk. But since Recovery Girl sent me over everything and explained everything over the phone I guess you do need some extra help. But going out to meet people you just met yesterday? To help you train? Izuku are you going out to do something else?"

Izuku tilted his head in confusion, "No. Ok well I should probably explain how I met them and who they are."

Izuku then went on to explain who he met yesterday and the meaning behind this training, "So yeah mom. They all wanted to mentor me. Granted I think Amajiki is only there because the other two are."

Inko nodded, "Ok well you just be safe. Were are you training anyway?"

He shrugged, "I don't know. They said that had a spot and to meet them at U.A. and they would show me. Anyway I gotta go. Love you mom."

She smiled, "Love you too sweetie. You be safe."

He nodded and left.

Once he arrived at the gates he attempted to step inside but the gates slammed shut, "What the hell?"

He called Togata, "Hey Midoriya! What's up?"

"Um the gate won't let me in. It about took my leg off."

"I thought we said we would meet at 11:25."

"Togata."

"Yes?"

"What time is it?"

He heard shuffling in the background, "It's 11:25. CRAP! Guys it's time and the gate about flattened Midoriya! Come on! Be there soon Midoriya!" The call ended

Midoriya chuckled, "Been there."

About ten minutes later the gate opened. He attempted to step in but stopped, "I should probably wait."

He waited and he saw a speaker on the side. He didn't think anything of it until it spoke, "Izuku Midoriya you are able to enter. Report to the principals office."

"How am I in trouble before I am enrolled in this school?"

Midoriya walked to the office and saw his three mentors outside. Mirio smiled, "Midoriya!" They approached him and Mirio wrapped an arm around him, "Sorry about that! Haha! We lost track of time. That gate didn't take off anything it shouldn't right?"

Midoriya shook his head, "N-No. G-Got everything."

He saw Hado appear in front of him, "Hey Midoriya! Sorry about earlier! You ready for training! It's gonna be so much fun!"

Midoriya nodded, "Y-Yeah! I-I know i-if I learn u-under you t-three I w-will b-be a lot s-stronger."

Everyone then heard a voice from the office, "You may enter."

They all entered and they saw Nedzu sitting at his desk, "Hello you three and you must be Izuku Midoriya."

Midoriya bowed, "P-Pleasure to m-meet you N-Nedzu."

He swatted his hand, "The pleasure is mine. If you didn't do what you did during the entrance exam that Uraraka girl would most likely have been seriously injured beyond Recovery Girl's quirk or died. Because of that we have now started looking into different ways we can do what the zero pointer was there for. Speaking of that do you know what it stood for?"
