Chapter 21: Calvary Battle

The first 42 students of the race were currently crowded around the podium and Midnight spoke, "Aright everyone! So let's start off. Everyone has been assigned a point value in values of five. 42nd place is 5. 41st is 10. 40th is 15. So on so forth. But first place is very different! There head band is worth 10 million!"

Izuku felt the stares, "You have to be in groups of two or more! One person will be labeled the horse and they must never touch the ground! Your head band will be a combined number of your teammates! But the person with 10 million points is different! They have an opportunity to be in a group all alone! Also if the 10 million point owner decides to be in a team his entire team can touch the ground without any thing happen! But they must all be connected in someway shape or form! Now find your teams!"

Izuku Midoriya had just been told his headband is ten million points and needless to say he was freaking out.

He looked around and no one was coming to him, "Great! So I know I can be alone but I highly doubt I can deal with that." He rubbed his chin, "Hm. Maybe I can. I know I am fast enough to avoid attacks. But the issue is am I fast enough to handle multiple attacks at once? I probably am but I don't wanna take the risk. If I do find a group I can use Black Whip to stay connected. Hm."

He felt a tap on the shoulder, "Hm?"

He turned around and saw Uraraka and Mei Hatsume, "Um hey Uraraka! Hey Hatsume! You all by chance wanna be on my team?"

Hatsume nodded, "Hell yeah! Your the best person for me to show my babies off!"

Uraraka nodded, "Y-Yeah Midoriya!"

Midoriya nodded, "With a decent team like this we can get far. But having one extra person would really help. But who?"

He looked around and saw someone who was alone, "Got it!"

He walked over to the person and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Hey Tokoyami. Would you wanna join our team?"

Tokoyami turned, "Why me? Wouldn't you prefer to be alone?"

He shook his head, "Any other event I would say yes but this one no. To many people and also to many people I don't know their quirks."

Tokoyami nodded, "Sure I'll join."

There group gathered around and Midoriya spoke, "With this group we should be fine. I can keep us all connected with Black Whip."

Hatsume spoke, "Hey! I have a baby for that!"

Midoriya nodded, "What is it?"

She pulled a cube out of her backpack, "This baby will have multiple lightweight metal wiring and we can use them to connect us. Granted the distance isn't far."

"How about we combine Black Whip with that. Hm. Tokoyami I saw in your foe hero vs villians battle you can use Dark Shadow for offense and defense. How about we make you the horse. Uraraka can use her quirk to make you float so you can be all the way in the air."

Hatsume nodded, "And! I have these hover boots! They produce enough force that if he needs to dodge he can use them to move quickly."

Tokoyami nodded, "I like it. Who would the cable be connected to?"

Midoriya spoke, "Me. Worse comes to worse I can use Black Whip to pull you down if you start getting targeted to much up there. Wait! Hatsume! I know you created these head bands! Do you have any extra?"

She nodded, "You bet I do! Why?"

"How about we all wear a head band? Only one of them will be real since it has that device in them. We can trick them. And any headbands we gain will only further us."
