Chapter 62: Traitor

Izuku woke up the next morning to Nejire hugging him from behind. He couldn't help but smile a little bit.

He gently pulled her arm off of him and got up. Once he was up he went straight to his desk and opened up the files Nedzu dropped off, "Hm. He added more then just medical files. Bank records going back twenty years from each family. Probably to try and see if their were any donations."

He looked at a note attached to the bank records and it said, "Figured you would have a better time with these. I didn't have time to look into them as I am still looking into other students. I am focusing on the other five hero courses. So far all the support course students have checked out. Though Hatsume based on how she acts rubs me the wrong way."

Izuku chucked, "Tell me about it."

He continued reading, "I do not have enough time to do this deep of a dive into every class but if you can't find anything here come to me and I will give you another class files with the same things here. I wanna say I hope you have luck but that means we have a leak here. Contact me as soon as you can if you find a traitor."

He set the note down and started going through the files. He was able to instantly eliminate a couple. Todoroki because of his family and Bakugou because of his family. He was there the day Bakugou first used his quirk so there isn't a way All for One could have given him one. Based on the information Yagi had given him whenever All for One transfers a quirk it kicks in instantly doesn't matter age or the person. Bakugou's parents were also well off but not that well off to support a high tier criminal.

He first started looking into students who were from rich families first. Yaoyorozu and Ida were first.

To say Yaoyorozu families bank records were confusing was an understatement. Guess coming from a rich family and running multiple businesses means a lot of money going in and out. He spend an hour on her alone. But he eventually decided she wasn't it. All the money coming in and out were going to reputable businesses, family members, and bills.

Then was the Ida family. There bank records weren't as bad but a lot of of their money was going to paying side kicks. And since they were a reputable hero agency they received a lot of money. He also knew Ida didn't get his quirk from All for One based on their families quirks.

Then Izuku went onto the other student that was from a well of family. Aoyama. As he was going through his medical files he noticed something off. He was first diagnosed quirkless. He even had the extra joint in his toe. Granted mutation quirks could take a while to kick in. Same with quirks that granted increase in strength and speed. He then looked into his parents quirks and noticed their quirks were nothing like his, "Maybe just a coincidence? Should still look into it."

As he was looking into it it got weirder. A couple weeks after he was diagnosed he got reevaluated and was told he had a quirk. With this time frame in mind he looked into their bank records. That is were it got worse. A week after he was diagnosed as quirkless his family sent a significant amount of money to a company as a investment. But every month since then they had sent while a smaller amount of money it was still a lot to the same company as an investment, "With this much money the company must be huge."

Then he looked into the company. After some digging he found it was most likely a shell corporation. To much was not adding up here. Or everything was adding up in the worse way possible.

He called Nedzu and once he answered Izuku spoke, "Hey Nedzu. I found something and it doesn't look good."

"Come to my office. Bring everything you have. We will also have all the teachers here."

"On my way."

He grabbed everything and headed off.

Once he arrived he laid down everything and explained what he found. Aoyama's quirklessness, to suddenly having a quirk, how his family sent the amount of money to a company as an investment, and then he ended on the corporation most likely being a shell corporation.
