Chapter 58: How Life Works

Izuku and All Might were exchanging blows. But it was different this time. Izuku was not just keeping up. He was ahead. Not by much. In fact it was so little it was barely noticable. But a hero with as much experience as All Might noticed.

When he noticed he had the biggest grin on his face. They both threw their fists at each other and when they collided the air pressure sent them both flying back. But Izuku was faster. Using float he was only knocked back a couple feet compared to All Might's hundreds of feet.

When All Might regained himself Izuku was already on him. Black Whip with One for All coursing through them wrapped around him and Izuku spun at him, "Spinning!" His leg came out, "Delaware smash!" He foot connected straight at All Might's side causing him immense pain. The kick had so much force even Black Whip couldn't keep All Might still and he was once again sent flying.

All Might flexed his arms and pulled them back using them like cannons to launch him forward, "I must say Midoriya! I never expected this! Bring it!"

Izuku stared at All Might and launched after him.

*Monitoring Room*

Everyone was shocked. No one could believe it. Izuku was not just matching All Might. But he was just a hair ahead.

They were so baffled but once they looked at the screens on the left and right they knew. Izuku's quirk energy levels were just slightly above All Might's 100%. If Nedzu were to say Izuku's 80% was equal to All Might at 104%. If this was the case then Izuku at 100% would be All Might at 130%.

Nedzu smirked, "Wow! I never expected this!"

No one expected this. No one expected a first year to not just match All Might but surpass him.

Todoroki grit his teeth, "Is the gap between me and Midoriya so wide I will never be able to catch up?"

Nedzu looked up at the monitors and he noticed something. Izuku's vitals began to fluctuate. The image of his body was highlighted in certain areas. Indicating muscle tears, cracked bones, fractured bones, broken bones, burst blood vessels, head damage, and so much else. "How much longer can you keep this up Midoriya. Your body isn't used to the power you are using. This is a battle of will. And who will win."

*back in the foe city*

Izuku was flying through the sky using All Might has a bouncing board. Izuku was already matching All Might in speed even before his increase in power. But now. He couldn't keep up. Not to mention using float kept this an air battle and All Might had only ever fought one villain who was able to fight in the air for long periods of time. All for One, "Wait. How do I know that?"

He used Black Whip to wrap around All Might's waist and dragged him in, "Double Detroit!"

He slammed both his fists straight into All Might's gut, "Smash!"

All Might was sent plummeting straight to the ground and the impact he made looked like a meteor just hit.

When Izuku landed he felt something. Pain. Extreme pain.

He keeled over and began coughing up blood, "What....Huh...."

All Might chuckled, "Ha! Midoriya! You got cocky!"

Izuku lifted up his head, "H-Huh..." He coughed up more blood.

"You pushed your body over it's limits! Your body isn't adjusted to the power! And now your body is suffering blowback." He walked towards Midoriya as he was still coughing up blood barley able to move.

Izuku looked up and activated Full Cowling but the second his did his body instantly suffered blow back.

All Might chuckled and raised his fist, " You lose!"
