Chapter 68: Coma

2 days have passed since the summer camp was attacked. The only injuries were those obtained by Izuku Midoriya. And the only person missing was Yuga Aoyama.

RG walked into Izuku's hospital room where he has been unconscious since he was brought to the hospital. The only people in there were Inko and Yagi since Nejire was at another summer camp location but she would arrive today.

RG spoke, "Ok so all in all he is fine. Whatever injuries he obtained have healed. The only thing we can't tell if it has recovered is his brain."

Inko spoke, "His brain?"

RG nodded, "Yes. According to Kota who is the kid Izuku saved he suffered multiple blows to the head by Muscular. Not to mention right after All for One attempted to steal his quirk."

Yagi spoke, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"When All for One takes someone's quirk he is very careful who to take from. Kid's for example since they have a quirk factor but their body and brain are not developed enough. So taking their quirk will not have any effects on them except for being quirkless. Another example is coma patients. Doctors never screen for quirk factors on coma patients. And since they are already in a coma for reasons the doctors never notice. But Izuku was not in a coma. Also he was already running on fumes and was injured before hand. And then right after he used all his stamina for his electric flare attack which made the brain injury worse. So far it seems fine but we won't know until he wakes up. Which should be today or tomorrow."

RG then walked out.

Inko had her head in her hands, "Toshi. Do you think he will be ok?"

He nodded, "Young Midoriya will be fine. He is strong. We have both seen it."

Inko nodded, "I know. I know. Oh um Hisashi texted."

"What did he say?"

"Just his typical bull shit. Claiming Izuku would have been fine if he raised him. Same stuff he said at the hospital last time."

Yagi chuckled, "Has he not learned. Did he say if he was coming to visit?"

"He said he wasn't coming. Nejire texted me yesterday and said she should be here later today. Depends on traffic. Oh um. Are you still planning on doing it?"

Yagi nodded, "Yes. Ragdoll is able to find his location. She is on a helicopter flying all over to find him. Once she is able to find Aoyama a group of heroes will attack. No doubt All for One is there. And if he isn't he is close by."

"Shouldn't you wait for Izuku to wake up? He will be needed."

He nodded, "Yes but we don't know when. And there is the fact now is the best time to strike. If they change locations it will be next to impossible to find them again."

Inko sighed, "I know. I know. I just don't like it."

"I understand honey."

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Inko spoke, "Yes?"

A female voice spoke, "It's me."

"Come on in Nejire."

Nejire entered, "Sorry I am a bit late. Um. How is he?"

"In a coma. Recovery Girl said he should be awake today or tomorrow."

Nejire sat down in a chair next to Izuku's bed and held his hand, "What happened. All I was told was that their was a villain attack."

Yagi sat up, "Not just any villain attack. Muscular, Ghidorah, and All for One. They all fought Midoriya. And according to Muscular it wasn't just them. Some others were also there but according to him Midoriya handled them quickly before focusing on only them. Then Ghidorah made him have to stay in place to absorb her electric blasts and while he was still Muscular attacked. Once they held him down All for One attempted to steal his quirk."
